This method works the same on PC and Mac, since it's only done in chrome, firefox, and edge browsers. Safari unfortunately uses a different method.

Yes, it works on Mac - you do it all in the Chrome browser.

even though we set for HD resolution (1920 / 1080) but it is taking very high resolution and saving each screenshot as 35 MB
Do you have a high resolution monitor? That could be why - and it also saves them as PNG which takes up more space. You can resize the image in paint or photoshop and shouldn't lose any quality.
This has helped me a lot, thank you PS: those saying its not 4k, why dont you just change the dimensions?

In your step 1.. I immediately know that this won't work! This is only for browser. Not for PC or MAC... change your title to how to take 4k screenshot in your browser. super misleading.

Sorry for the delay - thats a great question. Once you save the 'High Res' setting you should only have to press F12 and then click the 3 dots to jump right to capturing the screenshot.
Not all heros wear capes. Some just take screenshots?
