I just bought a one owner farm truck, with 305, auto. It’s on the second motor/ trans. I think it’s an 85. I will know for sure when I get the title. I bought it from my neighbor who is a retired tobacco farmer and the truck was used on the farm. Been parked since 2014. I might throw a 350 in it.

Thanks. I went and bushhogged around it. It’s a GMC Sierra Classic 1500 with a cap on the back. I didn’t see any rust and only one minor dent. Paint is faded but looks ok. Maybe I will try that penitrel you use. Don’t think I spelled that right. I have bought a lot of stuff from the tobacco farmer neighbor. 14 acres, a 1953 Allis Chalmers B, two old hay wagons, one I restored, tools, etc.

I like all body designs of Chevy & GMC fullsize trucks ever built. My favorite are square bodies. I like 81 - 87 square body plain cab long wheel base fleetside 2 wheel drive pickups with the base single square headlights.
