@@TomoFujitaMusic If those sweet bends are done right, it sounds like a blues sentence. If put two or three notes before or after, it‘s a wholesome complete blues fraze. Emotional story in 5 to 6 notes! I love that! Genius is hidden in simplicity! No!! It‘s not hidden, it‘s in youuu‘ faaace!😅🤗😉 The secret is: to start the bend and know when to mute before reaching the target note. Then pluck again just milliseconds before target note, hold that exakt note on pitch, then start to add a tasty low amplitude vibrato on top of the note on the bend stressed string. Now that‘s an art in itself!! Master Tomo Fujita san got it!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 I will practice this till my fingers bleed. Oh well, they bleeded few times already… because of my ambition and because they are thin and sharp (I mean the strings! My fingers are thick and dumb, haha)

@@TomoFujitaMusic Great answer, master Tomo! So true and precise and concentrated wisdom! Danke, Herr Fujita! Greetings fron south Deutschland, Pforzheim!🤘🏻
Just perusing 335 videos. I've seen two of yours now, and astonishingly they are the only two (of at least a dozen) that impress in terms of tone. Really nice sounds. Kudos!
@@totallyunmemorable Very important point is your left hand thumb placement! Learn triad inversions 3 ways and learn how to make these 3 notes beautifully with good intonation! Great way to learn how to play guitar well!
I just bought a 335 last week. I need to improve my bends. I love that chromatic bend. Any pointers on how to achieve that? what should I focus on when I practice chromatic bends?
Hey I got a Gen III 50 on the way, should be here Monday! It was a replacement for a Spark 40 that got bricked during a firmware update. :D Maybe I can get it to sound this good.
I hoped it was the F-cut ES my old ED was so rich beautiful frets shaped by Melbourne St. Music N.Adelaide, twice body depth of ES & classic LP shape, I'd cry, knowing it's versatility belonged to a master's touch, not this clumsy drummer but I still wish I had not passed it on, I'm sure you understand the love I speak of, I had couple special guitarist play smooth R+B for me, Sorry I waffle of love lost🍯 Cheers Tomo, thanks for Ur time 🥃
That tone is KILLER! Woah. I need to add that to my collection. Fantastic playing as always.

The Katana sounds really good . Of course it’s all in the hands

Thank you!
So killer… never heard someone do a bend like that. Killer
I practiced a lot the Tomo Fujita signature half-whole-step bend with vibrato on top. I‘m almost there. Sounds so sweeet.👌🏼
So happy to hear that! Thank you so much!

2) Only 2nd string ... etc. Super Slow.

Just kidding that’s me and I don’t even play an es-335

I was expecting "jangle jangle jangle" to make an appearance. Lot of shoegazers play es-335s.

Katana sounds good. But boi you're cheating yourself without a tube amp. Sacrilege to play that 335 thru digital amps😂
Jason has many vintage amps (tube amps) for just easy access with this amp! Thank you for sharing!
Lol if you get a hollowbody you WILL helplessly succumb to trying some jazz, same if you get a 6 string bass.
So much fun!
That's so bluesy teacher...
