Based (for short) is a project that shows what would happen if the DOFR composers took on the challenge of redoing the main game MSM islands. Originally crafted as a way to get back at the MSM Recomposed team for them doing Dawn of Fire, it's morphed into a passion project far beyond anything we could've expected. Will the project have Individual Sounds? No. The songs are NOT built with individuals in mind, and many of the project files are so old they've corrupted in some form. Some songs will have them, but that's gonna be on the composer's channels and not here. When's the next song coming out? Tomorrow if you're watching this in the few days after it comes out, whenever the next batch comes out if you're not. When's the next batch coming out? As soon as it's finished. Will all of the songs have these great thumbnails? Yes! Every thumbnail will have unique art by Sir Magma, or one of 3 guest artists (You'll have to wait and see!) What do the icons in the corner of the thumbnail mean? The rightmost icon is for the composer, and the one to the left is the editor. Why is the editor on the thumbnail? I would say something like "Because we do a lot of work!" but it's really just because Sam didn't compose anything and we wanted to use his icon.
I love the little nods to season of love with stuff like Noggin and Toe jammer side by side, Rare and common Wubbox fist bumping, and even smoochle just flat out kissing each other. I… don’t like to how that works, but it’s cute nonetheless
@@ThatGormalGirl Let's be honest here, the DoF bios for the Seasonals are partial BS, the true lore about them is explained in their MSM bios, the original bios made over a whole decade ago.
As someone who's never really liked Air Island, this sounds so much better! The sounds flow together so much better and it overall sounds a lot nicer! Just a nice vibe of a song.
@@cheese_productions The composer and thumbnail artist here! Toe jammer is an iconic part of the song, a lot more than tweedle here. All the thumbnails basically just have monsters that are notable in the song, and there are no patterns with what monsters are on them. Hope this helps clear the confusion

And this is a a short document about what's happening here in the monster world. Mammott Maso: Theres seems to be a lot of dipsters appearing in every island. We still dont know why are there so many dipsters. Just 1 hour, i counted about 145 Dipsters in 1 minute. Although, there seems to be some screeming underground. Many other monsters also hear soft whispers of 'Beets' and 'Orchards'. We dont know whats happening. But i may predict that this event is gonna be catostrophic.. or whatever how its spelt. This might get the same chaos energy as the catacalysm. Mammott Maso: And thats the short documentary. Why are there so many dips? Why are there screaming? Are the beets and orchards okay? And is this gonna be a BIG event? Might as well wait for more...
