👌👌 true yall already dominated the number one drumline in the state, but its good to see yall finally trying to chop , to bad it was none of your own material
Grimsley was sharper, cleaner, and all-around better. It does help that they had players on quinces and Dudley didn't, but regardless, we won this shit. WHIRLIE PRIDE
Good battle but I liked Grimsley they should start wearing straps but over All I think both lines did good and Dudley should play "2 Hit's & Pass" or as they call it "2 Sips & Pass" play it a lil faster it sounds dead... Just my opinion... O_O
Basses on one side blow ass there are to many and sound horrible and tenors on blue steel side very bad. Not playing together very sloppy i give it ro blue steel because the snairs were excelent.
Sound the same? yeah, dudley has one type of unmuffled, God-awful, bass sound that is just noise...and btw is ALL THE SAME. Tenors that are ALL THE SAME and still noise, and one skill drum being snare that's a different sound. There is no voice in what they play, it is all visual, Not downing the kids from dudley, they know how to put a show on but there is no comparison in the material being played. And Dudley **ked up a little bit more there bud, the REAL Blue Steel dominated.
Watching this years later and knowing what I know now……:
Grimsley won this battle just to be clear....like all jokes aside
Both Drumlines have several students that started in Aycock Middle School's Drumline! Funk Squad stand up! Great job to both programs and Directors!
Grimsley definitely won. On the drumline this year, hope we can do it again
It hurts me to say this, but Dudley got chopped to pieces. they were not ready!!!

Both very good drumlines but I think dudley plays to much T
Grimsley was definitely more impressive. I was expecting Dudley not to be as sloppy as they were and overall more entertaining. Grimsley won this one
