I’m going through a custody battle, and i plan to go with my dad, and holy shit, this just made me realize and ask myself “what is my end goal?” Like the only goal I’ve had is to get with my dad, what next?
I watched this. I enjoyed it. When it came to the Fierce Deity Mask and killing Major. I was like okay then after he was still in the mask mode. "The Fierce Deity's Mask can only be used during boss battles" You remember the giants mask but not the other mask.
Moving along that note. Why didnt the Deku butler go with him. he was close ish lol
~The Bullshit Formula~
1. Listen to Quest Givers complaints and what they want you to do...
2. Perform the Quest you were given in specific area!
3. Return to Quest Givers with completed Quest in hand!
4. Get Rewarded for said Quest and never redo the Quest ever again! (Because Boredom)
That's basically all you do in every Role Playing Game that has ever been created!
I got major FilmCow feels out of this and I absolutely love it.

I've actually never had my sword taken off of me. I was too scared to go near the bird unless I was Goron Rolling. What exactly happens?

Welp I went digging for my old N64 because you piqued my curiosity aswell, and it turns out the bird will steal your sword if you're regular link and seemingly the bird is the curiosity shop owner's pet because after being stolen your sword can be found at the shop for sale for 50 rupees.
Note: prices may vary as I had the gilded sword, not the kokiri sword.

What is it with Link and his. need to outdo Majora?
I'd recommend going and watching Xanauzumaki's Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask abridged series (or at least just Majora's Mask abridged). This animation is a continuation of those abridged series, so there's more context behind Link's character there. Both are hilarious and worth the watch.

I disagree with the bullshit formula because, if you go though it the first time while making mental notes of everything you need to know, then you can reset time & do it all again by going straight to the end without all the shit you dealt with before.
It took 1 hour and 20 minutes before you lost me.
