- Today is a Costco Shop With Me video for November 2022! Costco is the place to be, I enjoy shopping in there. I don't know what it is..maybe the nice clean aisles. It's just always a pleasant experience. And then I also love the grocery hauls and shopping videos too!
We used to have one of those heat dish heaters, and it eventually started smelling like plastic was burning; it was overwhelmingly awful. Maybe we got a faulty one? Who knows. 🤷🏻♀️

Years ago I was a single mother to 2, an infant and toddler at the time. My first thanksgiving without them I sat in my car parked in front of a nice restaurant I had planned to treat myself to and cried for over an hour and just went home. It’s hard to go through and I think you are doing so many good by sharing your life. It allows people to relate to you and helps someone not feel alone. I wish I had your channel back then! Maybe I would’ve gone inside the restaurant and I really hope that you do take yourself out to dinner ❤

My Dad and his friends in the 1980s started doing Friendsgiving on Thanksgiving Day. It was so much fun, that even when family was available, they would just tag along!

I have and use a soda stream! My husband and I love pop and with the price of all groceries right now, it’s way cheaper for us to use the soda stream. Granted, it doesn’t taste like regular pop, but for the price we make it work!
Is it like sparkling water? My husband loves sparkling water and was thinking about buy this for him.

My husband's been wanting a Sodastream forever. I thought it was just a phase, but he drinks fizzy water daily. Looks like the husband's are the ones keeping that company in business.
Side note: the Sonoma brand pasta sauces are so good! We stock up on the Alfredo one whenever we see it because it sells out fast at our Costco.
I love my Sodastream. I usually just make carbonated water. It's great to always have it available and not have to haul (and pay for) club soda from the grocery store. I am not a huge fan of their flavors but will sometime make the cola flavor.

I laughed about the soda stream because my husband uses his every day! He doesn’t even flavor the water, he just drinks it plain and carbonated. We got sick of all the plastic bottles and can waste. I think we only got one in 2019 so we were definitely late to the soda stream!

Just wanted to jump back in to the deals and Coupon and ads I was really good about it a couple years ago and I had a huge stockpile but then I recently opened up a business and I have no time but I definitely need to budget because I’m missing the benefits so thank you for inspiring me and getting back the fun and joy for getting deals.
Check out your Walmart and Amazon for affordable light fixtures! You can be your own handyman! The internet has alot of information for you! I used to do most of my own repairs and now being partially paralyzed HATE having to pay for something that I know that I used to be able to do for free! It's easier than you think! The holiday situation is rough! It gets better! Busy work like repairs and maintenance helps you mentally and upkeep for your home! Thank you for sharing your life with us!

When soda stream first came out I got it for Christmas after I used it I found it sort of a waste of money as the soda would go flat after the first glass was drank once I used up the combination mechanism it was expensive to replace I got rid of it
I use my soda stream all the time!
I save the plastic containers from to go orders and use them for leftovers when family comes over. I don’t have to worry bout getting those things back but don’t have to purchase anything!😂
My entire family has been using our soda stream daily for years. Healthy and refreshing sparkling water without having to lug bottles from the grocery store.

I normally just wash to go containers and save a few for when I want to give people food to bring home. Some trays and some soup containers. Saves money and the environment.

for holidays and special occasions you don't have to stick to the exact date, be flexible and celebrate those occasions if you want to by making birthday week or thanksgiving weekend for example and celebrate on any day of your choosing. We do this for holidays because we want to enjoy time with both sets of relatives.
Love your videos. The only thing is I left Costco after 30 plus years. Once they had enough members they are very disrespectful and prejudiced.

I have those OXO containers. I hate them. The lid comes off if you grab them with your fingers regardless if you push the button down or not. I found out the hard way when the flour went everywhere. 😂
Our SodaStream is used weekly! We keep having to buy new cartridges we use it so much.
The cranberry bread was delicious! We went back and bought another. I have to know why there would be a dead bee in the figs?? 😅😂

I have a soda stream 😅😂 and yes I love it (even though I’ve only used it twice) I wish they had smaller bottles. It makes too much seltzer at once for just me to drink it

My husband and I use the soda stream all day every day. We drink carbonated water….so this saves us a TON of money!

The Mon Chateau faux fur throws aren’t $15. They’re actually the $44.99 price that was next to that sign. I know cuz I bought them 2 weeks ago when they were on sale for $35. They are amazingly soft and wash so well and don’t shed at all. I wish they would’ve been $15 😅

When you mentioned you being alone on Thanksgiving, that really hit home. My sister cut me off from the family around 4-5 years ago. It's a long story... I used to love Thanksgiving, getting together with family, eating till you pass out. Now I buy these pre-cooked turkey dinners that are a little on the dry side. To make things worse, that sister that cut me off, told all my other relatives not to talk to me or see me. Sometimes family really sucks. Especially around the holidays, it's pretty tough.

I don’t know why she found it difficult to open the lid on the Bourbon flavored real maple syrup. The lid is a basic lid that twists to open. It’s the easiest thing. They only bring it out for the holidays, so I stock up for the entire year. It is the most delicious syrup ever and a great deal because the bottle is pretty big!
Maybe in time you and your ex can have holidays together or work it out where you both get time with the kids on those days. It’s hard on holidays without the kiddos.

I feel so sad seeing those items made of acacia trees. I hope they are not cutting them in Africa. Acacia is the shade providing trees of Africa against the heat. Animals eat the flowers leaves and seeds. They grow wild there like cedar and maple trees here. Because of this it is not common for people to plant them. Please don’t buy those items……trees are valuable.

I think your whole identity from watching a lot of your videos, is base on your marital status. This is a very great opportunity for you to start changing your language you use about yourself. Stop saying "divorced", "single", "alone" to identify yourself, as it is very self depricating and you are more that just a divorced mother. You can now speaking into existance who you are. Instead of being "alone" for thanksgiving, you have the rare opportunity to do whatever you want, without thinking about your responsibilites (aka your children) which not a lot of mothers have the priviledge of doing. Take yourself somewhere nice.
I didn't get that impression, it felt like she was just referencing what's going on in her life a couple of times. She talked about lots of things about her-- captain hockey player, her 3 kids who may or may not put blankets on heaters, she talked about her home as related to products--- lots of normal stuff. I definitely don't feel like she's making it seem in her videos like her martial status is her whole identity, she's just being real and relatable. Also, taking herself somewhere nice is exactly what she said she plans to do
Most moms wouldn’t want to be without their kids on any holiday. I completely agree with Joy. She is just being relatable and honest about what’s going on in her life and how she’s feeling.
A privilege to be without your children on Thanksgiving? Mmkay… 🥴 I literally know not one good mother that would feel privileged to not be with their children on any holiday. It’s completely normal and natural to feel alone, especially since she’s been divorced all of 5 mins. Good grief. Let the woman process this however she needs to. Extend grace.

I don’t understand what could be considered TMI? She’s not talking about any obscene or inappropriate details. She’s not slandering her ex. She’s just sharing a life experience that’s new to her, and how it’s affecting her lifestyle. Divorce is a massive life change, and I can only imagine that it’s occupying a lot of her mind since it’s still fresh.
