Regardless of the war, politics and historical conflicts, Turks and Greeks have shared these lands and lived side by side for centuries and created so many cultural heritages together. We live in a peaceful era now even though the politicians try to divide and dictate people and use their nationalist emotions but it won't change the fact that these lands are the most beautiful places on earth with so many nice people. As a Turk, I enjoy the most when I drink ouzo/rakı with my Greek friends on the coasts of Aegean sea and sing altogether till the sunrise.

I enjoy a lot when I learn the ancient Greek history and travel those places both in Turkey and Greece. My grandmothers/fathers emigrated from Thessaloniki/Kilkis and they called it as homeland till they died. The village I was born used to be a Greek village and people who lived there their sons/daughters visit sometimes with a tour my family always welcomes them we give them every food or gift we have because it’s their homeland.
