Amazing! The ride part at 3:05 was impressive. Really difficult to synchronize the mind with the arms. The ride itself is loud and distracting even though you're playing the same low tom pattern (Triplets i guess it's called?) but alternating between the lower tom and the ride instead of full tom.
One of my favorite Nightwish song, love it. Didn't know you were such a double kick expert by the way, not even one little variation on the whole song... damned impressive
Not that much of an expert actually, I'll admit - took a good fortnight or so of focused practice to pull it off, not sure I could execute this again at the moment... but still working on it!
