But yes, far away objects will render at lower detail...as it very well damn should for you have a finite resolution and a finite computing power capacity. This is classic LODs at work and pretty much expected and desired. Your frames per second will thank you.

A lot of effort went into making this video. Thank you! The clouds look some kind of cartoonish. It's better to use (pimped) default weather and clouds. I have xEnviro as well, but do barely use it. In my opinion it's an unfinished product. Or a beta-payware, or a paid demo - you name it. I fly in VR most of the time and xEnviro (still) doesn't support it completely. As far as I have seen xEnviro 1.10 or 1.11 can not render more than one cloud layer. Or am I wrong? Are there any videos out there showing xEnviro 1.10 or 1.11 with more than one cloud layer? xEnviros METAR sever isn't reliable as well. Sometimes xEnviro renders weather completely different regarding actual METAR report, even after turning the plugin off and on again. As I said, for me it's still an unfinished product.

Wow that looks nuts. Not a flight sim person but naturally far better textures and add-ons used here. Some scenes I swear look nearly real. Others need a lot more depth to them (San Diego), but aren't horrible. But still, just nuts man. Could see this kind of texture or pack quality become standard in a few years. Just look at FFXV 4K texture pack (about 100 GB), so 300 isn't too wildly out of the question.
FWIW, you can relatively easily spin up a NAS and stream your scenery in to XP11 over the network. A couple years ago I set up a FreeNAS server with a 20TB array, tossed every bit of my scenery on it (came out to ~2TB), used iSCSI to allow my gaming rig access to the drive and then symlinked the scenery from the NAS to the local XP11 install directory. Worked flawlessly, to the point that I started doing the same thing with other "HDD heavy" games like GTA5. If you like tinkering, it might be worth investigating.

I was Killcam nah fam. It’s all about which packs you download for X-Plane. Shame you can’t script those in MSFS... also add-ons are totally free from XPlane.org. The only way I would get MFS is if you could freely design your own plane without additional purchases.
