Great stream! One quick note, the original Sonnet that you are using was an old prototype that was not used for production (hence the different screw size). Anyone with an original Sonnet and new Sonnet will have the same screw hole sizes.

Love the Sonnet, and thanks for comparing the V1 & V2 compatibility, this is great news for us V1 owners that may want one of the new top colors or PC 😃Just may need the new hardware with the V2 tops. Now the question is if there's a difference in color/finish with the V1 PC bottom and the V2 PC top (hopefully they are the same and would match) so I may have to ask about that. Cheers!

From what I understood from the video is that the V1 bottoms aren't compatible with the V2 tops? I really wanted to get a PC top for my copper bottom :(
@@josephraya2475 Initially that was thought but later in the video he's able to fit them together. I checked on the Mode Discord and apparently his V1 is an early prototype, hence why there are some minor differences and different hardware. I asked there and they confirmed the PC used is the same between V1 and V2, plus I found their Sonnet Q&A where they state there is full compatibility for everything between the two versions for top/iso mount, exception being only V2 parts work with the new block mounting system, only V1 can work with stack mount insert. Also the V1 accent is compatible with a V2 top, just it'll only attach with the two middle screws (due to where the new mounting block cutouts are located on the ends). So you should be able to get the PC top for your V1 with no issue as long as you're ok with top/iso mount (IMO the best) :) I plan to do the same!
If you only use the top mount of V2 then the V1 bottom is compatible. But V1 bottom won't be compatible if you want to use V2's lattice block mounting style.
