@@DawnSchafferGetsWaxy Hi Dawn.... I wanted to follow up with you. Nicole's party did great. She took orders before the party. I mailed her 3 books and 3 testers (that was like 5 bucks but it was worth it). Every tester I mailed, a wax bar was sold in that scent. She had over 300 in outside orders and I told her that I would 'work it' so we could get her a 500 dollar party. WE DID IT!!! She did over 500 total!!! I drove home Sunday night so happy. I just wish I had joined under a more supportive team than the one I did. I like recognition for my success and I am not getting it from my group. (Call me a cry baby. lol)

And don't worry about who your sponsor is or who your team is, because they can't work your biz for you, and it sounds like you're doing great without them haha. But find some FRIENDS! They don't have to be on your team! My best support (I don't get it from my sponsor really either!) comes from the friends I've made outside of my team! There are LOTS of great peeps in this biz, so don't let a couple duds deter you!

This was a fun idea! Keeps people engaged! I wondered if I missed something. Did I miss the drawing at the end for the amount of testers?
I actually have them write that on the top of the order form at the beginning when they’re filling in their info. Then they give me their order form. Even if they don’t order, I now have their info for follow up. :) And I pick the winner based off that number!
What do you do for your host? Like as far as a gift. Or do you? Like to say thanks for hosting
Whatever you want! You could do something as simple as offering an extra half priced item (use the perpetual reward) to a bar of wax free or something else you have in hand. :)
do you think the card game could be used on the FB party too? I can keep a running tab of what ?s each person ask during the week long party and then total at the end of the party week?

How long do your parties roughly last for?
Depends on how interactive the crowd is. :) I would say 2 hours is a safe average.
What if your new to Scentsy, and don't have extra product to give away? What would you suggest I can do?
Good question! I made easy samples out of my wax! Even a sample is a great giveaway!
cindy c and you can always do candy and goody bags too. Or write what the prize will be on a slip, put it in a cute box they can pick and unveil, and then send them the prize or drop it off once you put in your order for items! That way it gives you a little extra time :)
what type of gifts do you give?
I have lots of little things I've collected. Scent of the month bars, scent circles bought with host credit, samples. Nothing huge. Don't spend lots of money!! :)
