Has 2k completely just said "fuck it" with simulation. I mean all these turning away jump shots, leaners, and weird celebrations after a shot. What is going on. They seem to now just cater to these park animations and left the NBA gameplay alone. It looks arcade as hell. I dont have the game but am i wrong saying this....
The target audience is teenagers, and the priority for the company is the online scene, getting as many people online as possible. The park moves infiltrating the NBA portion of the gameplay in such a big way is not surprising, and the fact that the face up and post games are a shell of their former selves is not surprising, either The footplanting is incredibly poor this year. The skating/sliding is constant.
@@dee4three930 So much wasted potential... Dee, since u got current and next gen, except the new dunk meter and contact alleys, is the gameplay completely the same? I know that the ballhandling is but since some shot animations are missing on current gen I'm curious to know. On current gen they only added Doncic and Zion's sig shot (but strangely not his ft-form) and I know Lbj got a new sig shot already with 21 next gen which they still didn't implement in 22 current gen. The new dunk packages are in it though from what I've seen despite no new layup packages. I'm mainly interested in how many new sig/ft shots they added to next gen 🙌🏼
@@tobiselle 2K22 current gen plays a lot like 2K21 current gen, with tighter dribbling and slightly better help defense (And slightly better rotations as well). But, the player movement issues are still there, as are the legacy issues. Also, in order to give the appearance of better defense, they added me sucking in animations and ghost defense, which is incredibly frustrating and hurts control and realism. 2K22 next gen with slider tweaks can be enjoyable in modes that allow said slider tweaks, and both games are plagued by rushed classic teams rosters, with copy/paste spreadsheet attributes/tendencies and signatures, and just overall very little care. This make MyTeam often incredibly frustrating as well, because the classic players are sluggish and feel like they are running in the mud, because the people who work on the rosters have the classic teams as low priority, and at the same time they also don't know the history of the game. Both games suffer from a lot of the same issues (Poor footplanting, constant ghost defense and being sucked into defenders, etc) Tune into our most recent NLSC podcast where I gave my first impressions of both current and next gen 2K22: www.nba-live.com/nlsc-podcast-392-first-impressions-of-nba-2k22/
@@dee4three930 Thanks for the detailed answer mate I just finished listening to the podcast. Great observation, feels good to hear people talking about the evolution and current bad state of 2K mentioning all the "lil" flaws, so much to discuss here... Also played every one since 2K9 and still getting back to 15-16 from time to time (with almost more joy than with the newer games) which is cool but sad at the same time) smh...
Always a pleasure to watch this content. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
What game speed u use
Default (50)
My 2k22 is not loading it open and close
Restart the console. If that doesn't work, reinstall the game or put in a ticket
