Scope and Content: This silent unedited footage shows survivors of the Buchenwald concentration camp departing for Switzerland by train, including Lilly Engelman Ebert, a survivor of Auschwitz and the Nazi death marches. Ebert was identified by her great-grandson using a copy of this film available on the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum website. Children who were made orphans by the Germans at Buchenwald Concentration Camp are sorted into small groups by United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration personnel.
