And, my husband and I lived on The Peninsula for decades, and then moved to the Sacramento area, and after living for most of our lives in the San Mateo area, we really miss it there, that's something to ponder, and we know others who also moved, and later regretted it, once roots are deep, it can be very painful to uproot and start life over somewhere else, and there is something really special about living in the SF Bay Area, the shopping and picking is incredible, quick drive to the beach or mountains, and as you said, once we sell and move out, kinda be hard to move back, unless multimillionaire! We enjoy your videos, picking is the easy part, I watch your videos for education, and to motivate me to keep listing!
It's so hard. All the other stuff is easy, but the weather, and nature is just the best. Sigh....
It actually is luck. The question is what is luck? Luck is being at the right place at the right time. Now your friends can ask you how do you get so lucky? You can say because i always show up. Nobody ever got lucky always sitting on the couch. I bought a nikon lens last december it is at the Wetzlar auction in germany waiting for their annual auction in october..should bring about 60k. Paid $2 lol

Mike do you test your electronics before selling? I always shy away from buying them in case they don't work properly. I know I'm leaving a lot of $$$ behind.
I test for sound and that is about it. Remote too. Hard to test everything on these units. So, I test the basics.

I grew up in San Jose (Blossom Valley) and moved to Seattle after college. It's expensive here, but not as astronomical on average as SJ. My parents' house is nothing special: the typical one story ranch house built in the 60s/70s when the area around Oakridge filled in. $1.8 mil, crazy

4:44 I wish my Dad would've kept his house he bought on Foothill Drive in 1968-69. I went to allen Elementary School and Bret Hart Junior High, can see from Google maps Bret Hart is no longer there. Those were the good old days when kids could safely ride there bikes around anywhere. My step mom told us to go play, and we wouldn't come home until dark.

A friend of mine is still working because the area he lives in began to expand and prices rose very quickly, causing his home value to explode. Unfortunately they raised his taxes past what he could pay with his retirement income. Loved the clubs thanks for sharing.
That's what sucks. Here my taxes compared to what someone who would buy my house is hugely different.
