Dissecting a Journal Club with Surgery Interest Group | Journal Club #3: General Surgery

A Journal Club is a gathering of individuals, usually within the same field of expertise, to discuss and critically evaluate recent findings published in academic literature. At the Surgery Interest Group in Alfaisal University, we host many journal clubs under various surgical fields such as urology, general surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and many more.
In this video, we take you through a journey of one journal club hosted by SIG. We elaborate on the structure and components of a journal club event. This journal club in particular falls under the field of general surgery, which was moderated by Dr. Alaa Alhazmi.
