Thank you so much for such a glowing review and being such a loyal subscriber! I love teaching through RUclips and hearing from so many appreciative viewers like yourself. I never dreamed less than 2 years ago, that I would still be doing this. The continued appreciation through comments, tipping the teacher and channel growth is extremely motivational...I love my classroom teaching job of 18 years but this takes it to a new dimension. Thanks for being there to support me!
Your presentation of this subject was perfect and your enthusiasm keeps the audience engaged. You are one of the best teachers I have seen and this world needs more people like you. You've just earned a subscriber.
Vex Graphic Designs Thank you for the awesome testimonial! If all my students were like you I would surly have a "M" next to my subscriber count by now:)
Whenever im absent this is where i come. Im a junior in highschool now and am convinced that watching your videos brought me up a letter grade last year. Thanks a ton!
You're welcome a ton ***** ! THANKS for choosing #ProfRobBob to watch and learn from! Sometimes all it takes is a little extra time spent studying and maybe hearing things explained differently:) You can continue to thank me by Liking, SUBBING and sharing your experience and my channel with your friends/classmates/teachers as an additional study reference and help my channel groW and help more students like you...BAM!!!
It is AWESOME that you are taking it again. My Calculus play list is very new and growing. I am just about to finish introducing Reimann sums and then showing how to find definite intergalactic using some short cuts. I am refreshing my own skills in
You helped me get an A+ last semester, and I'm already ahead of the class this semester all thanks to you, Khan and Patrick! Keep up the awesome work. You're making the world a better place
That's amazing...CONGRATULATIONS!!! I feel proud and accomplished to share the spotlight with Khan and Patrick! Thank you for your appreciation and viewership...many long personal hours go into these videos and it's nice to hear that they are appreciated and watched, because that is the end goal..to help those who take that extra step to be helped:)
WOW...it still amazes me that I can teach someone in Saudi Arabia from the back room of my home in Florida:) Thanks for sharing where you're from...I hate that the new RUclips format deleted that info! I really enjoyed seeing where my subscribers were from. Thanks for supporting by subscribing and please share my channel with your friends:D
You are an angel! I love you! I am failing Calculus right now and was really bummed and even considered dropping the class because I just wasn't getting it. I will continue to watch your videos to help me through this. Hopefully I can turn things around! Thank you so much.
I failed Calc 17 years ago and have decided I want to try it again, so I am taking it by Distance Ed currently. It is tougher than I remember, especially with no real instructor or peers to help with questions. Your explanation really helped me grasp the concept of this topic. Hopefully, you will cover more of the areas I have to cover. Thanks.
I had to watch this video twice. The first time I couldn't concentrate because your handwriting is so amazing. I love it. The second time I watched it was really helpful. Thanks!
+Jessica Lietzke I love it! You're welcome and thanks for watching "TWICE" and I hope you continue to enjoy my lessons and if you do, please take the time to lie, subscribe, support the ads, like and share thru social medias and tell all your friends, class and teachers to watch and do the same to help us grow and remain free:D
there are many sites that charge crazy amount of money but are not as helpful as you are. am just happy i don't have to pay to watch this video. i had B in my precal without going to class at all and now am doing the same with cal. without you this would been impossible. here at U Of Minneasota we horrible math teachers. THANK YOU SIR.
I happy to hear that my videos have been so helpful for you:) Teaching is a tough job & the time allotted in class is not always enough to completely explain a lesson. I'm glad you took on the challenge to seek out additional help & found my channel to get that additional help from! Please help me by sharing my channel with others at your school, maybe in the student center listing "FREE MATH TUTOR!" You could even start a study group using my videos:D You could hear BAM! all over U of M!
I am very glad I can help you through your class...at Calculus 1. Sorry to hear you are not getting much help from your teacher though. Your motivation to seek out extra help will certainly lead you to success...I am sure!
What I liked in you the most among the rest of the people giving tutorials here in youtube is that you are fun to watch! You make discussions as if its like a game and its so easy. Unlike my teacher in Calculus, he always talk and talk so fast that I couldn't understand anymore everything he say and makes me so bored on my sit. For me you are the best teacher and I never go for other youtubers. Whenever I get depressed whether I can understand a topic in Calculus. I go directly to your channel. Thanks a lot! More power! You are a big part on many student's academic excellence specially in Math. :) :) :)
THANK YOU very much for you kind words and support Frank! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoy learning from my videos and I also hope this means that you will continue to share this free resource with all your classmates and teachers too so we can keep growing and helping students everywhere for free...BAM!!!
i'm glad he explains his mistakes because it helps me reflect on my work to see where i went wrong during these looong distributions and cancelling values out during the equation
Wow. What a fantastic explanation to derivatives. People like you demonstrate that extrospective intelligence is an underrated ability. Well done good sir, well done.
THANK YOU SO MUCH I WAS PULLING MY HAIR OUT TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT. I knew it was something simple that wasnt being explained to me properly, this video helped me understand so much
Happy to hear that I could help you keep a full head of hair!!!...lol Thanks for liking, learning and subbing...please tell all your friends. classmates and teachers to do the same!
You're welcome!...and Thank you for creating a playlist to share!...that's the kind of help I need from everyone to help my channel grow:)...I need more students like you, helping to "spread the word":D
I could cry right now. Since being assigned calculus I haven't understood any of the lessons until i found your channel. I have a lot to catch up on, but your videos make it so I finally understand something ; v ; Thank you!!!

There is a "Tip the Teacher" button on my channel page if you feel the need to do so...but not necessary, I'm doing these videos because I love to teach and want to share my passion with students who can benefit from the extra help:)
You're welcome. I choose to teach in full lessons and try to show a breakdown in most descriptions so you can go to that place for help otherwise that's why there is a fast-forward button:)...lol I'm glad you found it helpful and thank you for supporting by subscribing too!
Now that's some real viewer loyalty...BAM!!! Thanks for your continued support after all these years...as you can see the only thing that has changed is my hair color and the size of my hair in my newest videos...lol Please like, sub and keep spreading the word about this free educational channel to help us keep growing and helping others just like YOU:)
WOW... haha that was a classic moment! Even on accident these videos manage to keep my attention. Thank you for the videos. I use them constantly either to refresh and sharpen my basics or to learn new stuff. It is very difficult to break down problems this way in class due to the time restraint and other variable. Your videos are a great way to understand the theory behind the equations we use. thank you for the good laugh and your passion for all of us.
Because any number divided by itself equals 1. The numerator does not just disappear allowing the denominator to float up. Thank you very much for watching:)
Wow... You are just so amazing... My math teacher butchered this unit and I checked this out, and it saved me. I got a test on this thursday and it weren't for you, I probably would have bombed it. Thanks for everything!
the dislikes clearly are not for whether he explained the subject adequately... which is the only thing i was after when i opened the video. thank you.
Professor Tarrau/RobBob, thank you for a mammoth video/lecture on the Slope of Tangent Line Derivative at a Point in Precalculus/Calculus One AB. This material will only strengthen students overall understanding of the first semester Calculus. Understanding Functions and Graphs are important in all levels of Mathematics.
Thanks for this, my teacher is cool and all but all he does is write equations on the board. You make it so easy to understand, definitely subscribing.
You're welcome, thanks for subscribing too! I hope you enjoy learning math from Tarrou's Chalk Talk and if you do please share your experience and my channel with everyone and help me groW!
Well I would say that the h's divide out to make a whole number 1, times 2 to make the answer 2. But the right answer is probably 1/2. I also want to thank you for taking the time to put up with me like this. I enjoy your videos, they really help since I am taking class as an online course.

Thank you so much.. Your lessons are getting me through my calculus exams..
Are you referring to the beginning of the last example at minute 21:56? In the first line I have sqrt((5+h)-1) and the next line it is sort(4+h)? 5-1 is 4.
