The plot twist that he knew Alexei was dead and had seen the bones but had gaslighted himself into believing that it was not so was an excellent moment to round off that story. I've played Taboritsky exactly once when the mod came out and seeing that everything that happens during a Tabby run was for less than absolutely nothing made sit back a bit. TNO has many moments like that, it's (or was since I don't know if it's been actively updated anymore) one of the biggest flexes I've seen in modding because it took a war game and turned it into a narrative tool.
I see the HRE and taboritsky as a play on diffrent religious/political movements that arose as a response to oppression (The the NOI in america) The black league is also related to this.
This Channel Has a lot of promise. You should cover more Path from HoI4 mods and more HoI4 mods overall. Like Equestria At War and it being suprisingly so good, Old World Blues, KaiserReich, KaiserRedux, Red Flood, Pax Brittanica, Fuhrerreich, The Sun Shining on the World... It Has so much potential. And without talking about other TNO paths, especially Guangdong.
TNO is one of my favorite pieces of fiction because of how fascinating some of the dystopias in it are to me, its so unbelievably interesting to read the events while playing that I dont even mind if there's not much actual "gameplay"

Love this video. A lot of TNO Scenarios work really well as horror stories, like Russia's Midnight, the African Devastation, Order 44, etc. I feel it really captures what horrors a timeline that an Axis victory could lead to and what type of ideologies and methods would be normalized.

TNO is a good universe to look at when seeing the results of these radical dogmatic ideologies clash with reality and the possibilities that could ensue. Be it Sablin's USSR, WerBell's Mercenary State, Himmler's Burgundy; there are so much more to explore when it comes to TNO aswell as other mods like Kaiserreich and Red Flood
