Can I also ask, when a man is abusive and you’ve been praying for him, is there ever a point in time when you can be transparent with your friends and church about the intimate details? That he is abusive, even if he acts super charismatic and godly at church? I feel like church culture calls that “disrespectful” or “slander”, but a woman and her children are being abused and told to keep silent. I see that silence as an Enemy tactic and that the things done in secret will be exposed and to give an account.
I totally agree, and unfortunately, this is a trend amongst many they pretend to be something they are not and you can definitely be transparent, but you need to make sure that you are ready to make some changes as to whether to seek counseling or therapy or to leave

First thing you need to do is pray for yourself, firist. You can't pour out of an empty cup get strong yourself. You heal then you can stand in the gap. So many are praying for spouses and your bleeding out.
I agree to the praying for yourself. You need to take care of you first absolutely. And you need to be strong enough to battle what it is your partner is battling.
