Zoe!! Thank you so much for sharing your reflections! I used to watch your videos a few years ago and I can’t believe that graduation is right around the corner. Congratulations on all that you’ve accomplished and I’m so excited that you’re planning future content ♥️♥️
I don’t care what anyone else says. Your journey is inspiring. Especially as black women we do what we think we are supposed to do to come out on top. And it is amazing to see you come to this realization and take the time to do what is best for you because a lot of us don’t ever get to there. You have reached this point of realization at a young age and your future is so bright because of it. I’m about to go into my senior year of college and hoping to go to law school and a lot of things you were saying really resonated with me. Mostly because I’ve always seen life as such an ambiguous idea that no one person can truly understand. Who knows why people do anything yk? But the important thing is to figure out what life means to you and what you want it to look like. Instead of doing what you think is the right thing for your life and end up super unhappy with where you are in life. So truly thank you for sharing your journey with us. It was an honor! I wish you the best in all your future endeavors.🫶🏾
You’re always so genuine! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us throughout your law school journey. Like others have said, I started watching your channel when I was preparing for law school and now I’m done with 1L! Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you :)
Finished 1L today. You were such a great source of information (and joy!) during decision, LSAT, and applications. I wrote of book of poetry this year (unintended at first). They just kept coming and im conviced it was partly bc my creative side demanded an outlet during the austerity of law school haha. Looking forward to you posting again, Zoe! Also.... "I'm probably gonna cut that" ... proceeds to very much leaves it in. LOL !! This is why 'm here
Zoeeee!! It's soo good to have you back with us queen! Thank you for sharing all your raw thoughts. I feel so connected to you and hearing you be so real about your experience and entering into this new chapter with a broader outlook on finding true enjoyment in life is such a breath of fresh air for me. You just get it. Can't wait for more to come!
I understand this too well. Maybe im not in super law school debt but I'd recommend trying to do some work in law to at least get money and on your free time, do the things you love. Then in the future, find ways to get where you want to go. It will help you reduce stress of not using your degree somehow, help you understand what you really want to do for work and make switching careers feel less "sunken cost." Your wants and dreams can and will always change. It is never wrong to change your career!! Im one of those people who wants even people in their 60s and up to go for the things they want. Its never too late to try and reach goals and be & do better.
I wanna be ur friend fr, I gonna dm you. I was watching ur vids prior to applying + im now a 1L at nyu. I have a lot of the same thoughts + feelings as u & if I remember correctly, we both have gemini moons. proud of u for making it here and fuck penn
@@OneLove-nc2st “Freaking people out.” 😝 my comment wasn’t inflammatory at all. College is a place where community is more built in than just about anywhere else. Maybe a retirement home is the only place where community is more built-in. After college, you really do have to find it, or create it yourself. Organize a block party, or neighborhood improvement group, join a decent HOA, or like you said, volunteer. I’ve been a grown up for decades and community it something you definitely have to look for or create. Moving away from college campus, moving away from being near your campus, is moving farther from community not closer to it….unless you have a family or a plan. Volunteering is great idea. And for Zoe that might be really easy because she’s afraid of nothing. Zoe probably has a plan. I think she said she has a plan. But you’re funny, onelove.
I hope you’ll use your law degree because so many people need help navigating the law. Not having representation you can afford ruins peoples lives too often. I know that for sure.
mary, this is irrelevant to what zoe is saying. she’s making the right choice for herself, and it’s her life and decisions. please respect them. edit: i just saw that you left multiple negative comments on this video. not sure what your problem is, but it has nothing to do with the theme of the video.
@@___391 this is so weird. My comment wasn’t negative at all. You’re reading it wrong. This woman just got a law degree. She’s stellar. She might be able to blend her law degree and her passions to help other people. People’s lives are ruined not having good representation. She literally said she is looking for community. That would be a way to build exactly what she’s looking for. And how is not relevant when… every single comment on a RUclips channel helps boost the channel? She’s afraid of nothing and nothing I could say would sway her from doing exactly what she’s going to do anyway. And every comment boosts her channel. Have a great day.

you being so down to earth is very admirable, keep shining queen

People are just people almost everywhere you go. Adulthood is partly realizing people are flawed and normal everywhere you go.
Good for you. All the best!

Finding community after college may not be so easy either.
...false. go to pilates, go to a new cafe every week, volunteer in your neighborhood. stop freaking people out, she'll be fine.

Ma'am, CAN I BE YOUR VIDEO EDITIOR? 👀👄
Aren’t you going to have to practice law to pay back all that debt? Was that 7 years of college? 3 of those years at Stanford?
She had a scholarship.
