Excellent Matt! Please continue making these Dissect videos. I am a little over 50% through the Rounds user manual and find it very helpful to combine that method of learning with some videos like this one, and of course trying everything in Rounds while learning.
Thank you so much for making this video! I have used Rounds in numerous projects but never dissected the parameters lik this. I cant wait to experiement and see where my new knowledge will take me!
Anyone familiar with Reaktor can appreciate how profound the engineering that went into this is. Especially considering it runs at 88000 and only jumps around 10% cpu in most setups. Remarkable.

@@rautshsale1948 Matt used Monark in his demo at the beginning. It's not a download or big part of the video. I just liked the sound so I copied the parameters from the screenshot.
I fall in love with Rounds but my CPU does not, so I lowered the sample rate to 48000. Doing that, what am I missing from Rounds sound? The filter quality?

I really enjoy using Rounds... Make a lot of songs with this synth. But pls, NI, give us more presets for it!
DIY. Better if its yours!
You dont need presets when you can create your own sounds. At least take the presets NI made and tweak them to your own unique style.
It seems like only a few of the parameters can be controlled with a midi controller.. How do we automate the most useful parameters..?
One of my go to.... 😇
WHAT VERSION OF ROUD IS THE VIDEO? 1.1? 2.0?
3 years ago, in Komplete 11, they gave us a bunch of hypercomplex Reaktor synth.
now they making a tutorial? better late than never.
Came for the Rounds tutorial, left with a Monark patch.

@@kinamlo oh lol thanks
wouldn't it be great to have a Rounds for samples
After half a decade, I finally looked into Rounds. Lol
I fall in love with Rounds but my CPU does not, so I lowered the sample rate to 48000. Doing that, what am I missing from Rounds sound? The filter quality?
You need to set the sample rate to system host
Ah, so this is where Matt Celliti disappeared to 👍 My favourite teacher.
The only guy who gets this instrument (and Pat Metheny who's actually used it on one of his tracks).
Dawn of Rounds
owned rounds for a few years but always end up getting frustrated.....it really is a monster synth though and one day i'll give it the time it needs
I'd call that magenta rather than pink :)
