    Moleskin seems cool, but the fact that the pages arent really reusable is the biggest drawback

    The Rocketbook lost a point in this review because reviewers chose the smaller Rocketbook, and compared it to a larger Moleskin. But the Rocketbook comes in multiple sizes (pocket-size, executive, and letter), so that point should have gone to Rocketbook. This would have broken the supposed tie, in favor of Rocketbook.

      Why is a bigger notebook better, exactly? Not everyone can or wants to carry around a big notebook.

      @@jbtetrick Not everyone does, but for the sake of parity, they should have selected the same size Rocketbook rather than the smaller one. The video seems contrived or at least uninformed. The score should have been 3 to 2 in favor of the Rocketbook.

      Rocketbook should get the point for the number of pages as well considering that the Moleskin's pages aren't reusable.

    Rockbook: pages are reusable but pens aren’t.
    Moleskine: pen is rechargeable and reusable but pages aren’t. No so environmental friendlier
    Winner: Rockbook because ink is refillable and Frixion pens are 10x cheaper and affordable

    The number of pages in this fight should go to the Rocket book as you could always reuse the notebook. No more pages? No problems. just erase the pages with a heat gun or damp cloth. In the moleskin notebook, really the thing that is smart is the pen and not the notebook. I give the win to the Rocket book all the way. I have mine in the last 6 years and have been using it since then. Oh, the same notebook. The moleskin pen is too complicated and fragile in my mind.

    • @jbtetrick

      Please don't use heat to 'erase' your Rocketbook. Heat just makes the ink invisible, it doesn't remove it from the page. All you need is a damp cloth, or paper towel, or even a baby wipe, and the ink is gone from the page. That is what the core (originally called Everlast) and later Rocketbook notebooks are made for.

      @@jbtetrick rocketbook wave is made to be microwaveable while the other products from rocketbook requires a wet sponge or rag. So yes, if you have a rocketbook wave, by all means microwave it as its litterary instructed for such.

    to say the rocket notebook cant be changed later isn't accurate, because it is saved as a PDF so that you can do whatever you need to do to them later, including editing notes

  • @CanItAlready
    @CanItAlready Год назад +3

    You're comparing apples and oranges. The point of the rocketbook is to have a notebook that can be reused so you're not using tons of paper and creating piles of notebooks. That's why it only has 32 pages. The moleskine has 170+ pages because it NEEDS them because it's not reusable.
    So if you want digital copies of your notes but you also want to save space and use less paper, rocketbook wins.
    If you want digitized copies of your notes but still want a physical archive, moleskine wins, I guess, though you could just print out physical copies of what you scan with the rocketbook app, this defeating the point of the rocketbook.

    This is a remarkably unfair comparison. It compares the smaller Rocketbook to the Moleskine and finds it lacking but doesn't seem to be aware that Rocketbooks come in different sizes. And it neglects the vast difference in price between the two products.
