The mod has come along way and I can't tell everyone how thankful I am for the support its gotten, honestly being described as decent quality is one of the best compliments I could've gotten because I really put my effort into the mod, into improving what was there and adding new stuff. It would be cool to have a single dice that completely changes your character. For example if you roll 1 it gives you a 10 min debuff where your character can barely kill a slime, and if you roll a 6 it gives you a MASSIVE buff. Make it so you have to relay on luck

The wild cards will have special effects while the normal cards will have lesser/no effects. Also, thank you for your suggestion for the UNO deck, I will see what I can do.
Cards as a theme works well with other cards, thats its whole thing. I feel like for a card based class, each card weapon should rely alot on eachother, the type of cards. For example, you could make each weapon consume a "card" projectile, with multiple ones & tiers with progression. For example, One of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, Clubs to King of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, Clubs. Build off of that, make it "if so and so card is thrown, make it do this effect, if using this card with this deck do this", i dont have any specific ideas as to not overscope but i feel like its the best thing to build off of to still stay in the unique card theme and not make it a basic ranged weapon
As a concept for the uno cards here's a idea: red: inflicts hellfire. Blue: pierces 2 enemies. Yellow: inflicts ichor. Green: inflicts curseflame. Wild: guaranteed crit, and pierces indefinitely.
You might be interested in trying the Hunter class from the Metroid mod, it basically turns your character into Samus from Metroid, giving you the blaster that you can improve over time. The blaster/missile launcher/suit all have slots to put in add-ons that change how they work and upgrade them over time, it's a pretty fun mod! Also adds a couple of bosses as a bonus
Alchemy class: The pillar name : chemical pillar The alchemy class provides a bunch of potions that uses a new bar called the throw strength You can use the strength bar to mqke the potions deal more contact damage Idk what will be the weps are ill let the comments cook
The last card class should use a deck item to hold the cards and have them shuffled after every cycle of usage. Like reloading a revolver randomly every time.
The UNO deck could work with multiple gimmicks based either on the color or special card the color could be like you said, Red:fire, Blue:frostburn, Yellow:Ichor, Green:cursed flames or it could have different gimmicks based on the special card UNO has +4 could add +4 armor piercing or penetrate additional 4 characters or straight up multiply damage by 4 +2 could work as the +4 or take one of the unused effects above with half the effectiveness stop could stun the enemy for a couple of seconds reverse could either be a malus that makes damage dealt return to the sender or apply confusion/invert the attacking direction of the enemy for a second or so

Well, for mods that add classes (while its more content than just the class, but it has alot of focus around it) there is the metroid mod in its hunter class
Metroid mod, adds a new "hunter class" unlike the last video you made, it has more content. For those who know the mod, it puts Metroid in Terraria. The mod adds some weapons, and 3 main modular weapons with various "upgrades" that the player can install on The "power beam", unlike other mods to improve it the player must find or make "beams", the rays give you different effects from more damage, shooting in bursts of 3 projectiles like a shotgun, a beam that freezes enemies, a beam which makes projectiles go through walls, the "phazon beam" is basically the zenith, etc. The "power beam" increases its damage if you use the "power love", in turn if you put improvements like "different suits", etc. They increase the damage of the weapon. The "missile launcher", Similar to the "power beam" but requires "ammunition" that is recharged by killing enemies while using the "power armor" or sometimes they release missiles or uses a "missile reloading station" To increase ammunition you need to install "missile tanks" that are stackable, So you can install different missiles to the gun. Finally, there is a mount, the "morph ball" you can put various improvements on, some of which add attacks or utilities, such as being able to climb walls and ceilings like Spiderman, launch yourself as a projectile to attack or dodge, and be able to use tools like pickaxes and axes. Bombs act like mines, some apply different effects when exploding. Power bombs are nuclear bombs, they have a recharge time and when they explode they do damage in a huge area for a time, when they finish exploding they do massive damage in total. This mount transforms you into a ball that measures 1 block, if you know how to use it or build a suitable combat arena you can dodge a lot. The "power suit", the main armor of the mod, is a modular armor to which you can equip upgrades that you can find or make, the upgrades range from new skills and weapons, suit upgrades that increase hunter damage and defense , like giving you some new abilities, gives you a quick dodge move that recharges over time, immunity to falls, ect. Some of the best stackable items you can equip to your armor are "energy tanks", they add a new energy bar/shield, which absorb some or all of the damage received. Depending on the "suit upgrade", "energy tanks" and "energy amount" you can tank attacks from bosses such as "supreme calamitas" from the "calamity mod" Energy is recharged by killing enemies while you have the power suit equipped or using the recharging station. @@joltendev maybe you could add something like fist accessories like those knuckle bracers to increase the damage of the fists or add a fist thats called vipers fangs, its a fist that inflicts poison, it can be crafted in early prehardmode with 10x vines 2x stingers, 15x jungle spores, and could shoot the fangs out of the fist!
@@GameRaiders101 Not necessarily. You could shoot projectiles, which depending on weapon will create summons for a short time. For bosses, they could add weak sentries to be killed while fighting. Not super easy to make it a good class but i see lots of potential there. I would start that mod now but i havent released any mods for over 4 years now. Im rusty dusty.

Orchid mod has a gambler class that’s way more in depth but for a WIP made by one person it’s pretty good.
I don't think Thorium has a Gambler class, the Orchid mod does tho
