Played the south course in the spring. Dont know if you guys made it to the back side if you did I hope you guys Ryder got a sweet shot on that par 3 on the ocean. Course is absolutely pure.

It’s not gravity, but it’s that the general topography of the land slopes away from mountains and towards the ocean. So often when a putt looks visibly flat it can be an optical illusion, and the green is actually gently sloping towards the ocean.

putts generally break towards the water because almost always, water is the lowest part of the course. Mountains are the opposite, generally the highest point.
