The kids flown from there were adopted out to awaiting families, but without their birth parents permission or knowledge. One judge even threw out the class action lawsuit, and declared them all to be separate cases, and told the attorneys working in the cases that they couldn't contact the birth families and tell them where their children were. And out of all of those kids, only 12 were eventually reunited with their biological families, and that's after years of custody battles with the adoptive parents. And the birth parents had to find their kids on their own if they wanted to reunite with them, and there was barely any (if any at all) paperwork to help them. So some never found their kids, and most of the kids never found their biological families when they started looking later in life. It's sad if you really think about it.
