I don't get it either. If your at a live concert why would you want to watch it through a 3 inch screen. But then again, everybody nowadays thinks they are a professional videographer. Stick the phone in your pocket and act like you're glad to be there, I don't know maybe pump your fist and jump around a little bit instead of getting mad at people who bumped you and destroyed your stupid little video.
That's what ive been saying & thinking they should do. at least this answers the question would Ace Jam with Bruce & Eric? , I just doubt peter would. oh yeah I forgot Vincent.
Yes JJ. But whose book? I've read all four autobiographies. Paul's book infuriated me. I'm answering you but also to whomever. Gene's book was crap (2001, Kiss and Make Up), Peter's was funny, and Ace's had me in hysterics on a couple of stories. People thought Ace's book was ghost written garbage, and it probably was, but so what? it was the best of the four. Again, I absolutely hated Paul Stanley's book, so one-sided and out of focus at times, at others zooming in perfectly lucid, very weird. it was so egocentric though. Repulsive!!! Now, the entire spirit of bringing the former members together is a spirit of family, not chops. It should be inclusive if they do that. Not exclusive. There's room for everybody. It's not a lineup. Eric Carr was great, I accepted him, but I still prefered Peter Criss, just for some perspective. I will gladly debate who was better or whatever, but am a huge Peter Criss fan, and not a fan of anybody else behind the drums really on the same level in this band, or very many other drummers EVER, except some jazz guys and Keith Moon, Bonham, etc., so I don't care how well he plays NOW. He gets a stage pass for who he was. So I'm not going to deal with leaving him out specifically. No fucking way. He deserves top bill. All due respect. Cheers.
I don't get you. He WAS a damn good drummer. He was an OK composer but really needed other musicians to put songs together. I think he was delusional because of "Beth" and he thought he was Frank Sinatra. This pissed Paul off, and fate was set. Paul never was able to top "Beth" on the charts. Peter got pushed out of the band, hence, his stress level went up, and so his partying became confused with coping, and his drug use went up of course. And he got fired. Yeah, his playing slipped, but you can always argue the song writing slipped too. UNMASKED? Peter had nothing to do with that. It's a piece of pretty trash. It's a very Paul Stanley album. I've been a fan of Paul's since childhood, but at the same time, I think he takes things over and goes too far. I got tired of him. No, I've become tired of him. But it's been a long time now... I still dig the old stuff.
No, they all bashed each other. He criticizes the NEW Kiss fans. He's totally right, not you guys. He would know. You're choosing sides, not being objective, believing what Paul and Gene have said over the years, selling the new lineup(s). You guys all sound like the same fan. It's the NEWER fans that are arguing with older fans, and then blaming the older fans of being Ace Kool Aid drinkers, etc. when it's a bait and switch. PETER WAS FIRED BECAUSE OF HIS AGE the second time, and the third. He was fired, he didn't quit. He was fired by PAUL. Meanwhile, Paul loves to point out that Ace quit twice and yet he himself (the BOSS) hasn't quit once, because he can't say he fired him. It's always the other guys' faults, even Gene's. Paul then writes as if it was always this way, even back in the days when it was a four way equal partnership. That he and Gene had to do almost everything. But they also lied to us throughout the reunion, even saying that the reunion album was what it wasn't. They exploited the fans' excitement and gave us the same two man band. It was naive to have believed them or expected more. The four way partnership was the true Kiss of legend, the rest is chasing trends and nostalgia, and disloyalty. Who cares about Animalize and all that garbage?
Marty White Overdrumming detracts from a song. I feel Eric complimented the song well and did not take away from it. During the verses especially, he’s not doing very much.
TheGodYouWishYouKnew That’s cool. We disagree. I’ve played drums for 34 years and would have toned it down. But I also admit to not being a fan of his style, but his chops are great.
I saw Eric's 1st gig with KISS in San Francisco, the Revenge club tour and it was possibly the best concert ever, truly insane, loud, clear, Genes bass blew the roof off, Paul's vocals soared, and Eric's playing was over the top, double bass all night, KISS never sounded better! Although Bruce always butchered the classic solos the band still sounded better overall than I've ever heard. Love or hate Tommy, he plays those classic solos fantastic, clear great solid tone more consistent than even the original.
Bruce is such a good sport. He is a very talented player, and pretty much gets relegated to rhythm next to a guy who doesn't seem to remember his own parts.
Blaine Fowler why should he have to remember? Paul wrote strutter. Ace didn't. Strutter wasn't a main stay in the set in the 70s. But they did play it more often then others. He went 16 years without playing it until the reunion and it's been another 20 years since he's played it. He's more worried about his OWN music and not playing songs he hasn't touched.
Bruce is so gracious. In a field that is full of goofballs and egomaniacs, Bruce stands out as a consummate professional. He's someone who will never let you down.
Singer has always been my favorite drummer. Always been better than Criss. Carr was amazing but Singer has a better voice AND better skill. It was amazing to hear him play some of the Revenge era songs. You can tell he misses those songs
Loved Ace growing up. time catches us all i guess. I feel bad for the other players who can play in time and know their parts. To bruce& Eric- that had to be painful to endure on stage.
@Kate The Head Alpha Whether he's played these songs in over 20 years or not is no excuse. He's playing them live and he should have learned them and been ready for the show just like you'd expect of any performer. He shouldn't get a pass because he name is Ace. As far as him getting it perfectly, no one in their right mind expects that of him, he screws up songs he played yesterday. He was always sloppy and his playing and motor skills have declined to the point he's marginal at best but a little effort on his part to be prepared should be expected of him. You'd be bitching like crazy and not making excuses if it wasn't him.
I already see what the kiss next move is going to be there going to do one last farewell tour with all the members they're going to bring out Vinnie Vincent Bruce kulick half of the show and make up half of the show without makeup that will be the last and final Kiss tour they better hurry up those two dudes ain't getting any younger. the Gene and Paul
I agree. I love bruce but don't understand why Bob gets tossed into all these expos and other events to do with kiss. He ghosted a few songs. Big deal. He's bitter towards kiss yet rides their (and his brothers) coat tailes.
He ghosted more than a few songs, actually a lot of songs. He played on Paul's solo album and did several other ventures with them. He's known Gene and Paul since before they were KISS. Yeah he's got hos own inflated hyped way of thinking and doing things but he's got a long history, with them. Longer than a few members that are actually in the band and he is a good guitarist.
Unfortunately you are right. My band can do this material, well way better. But, and it's a big but, I would have never picked up a guitar with out Ace Frehley. So, I will just grin and bear it.
Gotta admit Singer is pretty killer on drums man.
He's the best drummer KISS ever had
@@PelozoF Agreed in the macro but gotta say, Peter's grooves & fills/creativity in the 70's is unmatched in the KISS catalog.
Thanks again Mike for capturing an awesome KISS moment!!!
1:23 Strutter
5:20 Shock Me
11:00 Love Gun
16:21 Foxy Lady (Jimi Hendrix Cover)
what makes it enjoyable is this guy could sing really well. he could sing both Gene n Paul songs.
I LOVE WATCHING CONCERTS THROUGH SCREENS OF OTHER PEOPLE'S PHONES
Frank Elderwood Half those retards are filming vertically as well.
Frank Elderwood 📱👀🤣🤣🤣
No shit, say NO to Vertical Filming!!
I don't get it either. If your at a live concert why would you want to watch it through a 3 inch screen. But then again, everybody nowadays thinks they are a professional videographer. Paul says kiss could continue without him & Gene. Well if this was the new line up I’d definitely pay to go see them.
Andy T I pay not to see them.
Marty White
I'd pay DOUBLE NOT to see them
Daunting Task Truth
Cool. Shall we say $20 for everyday you don’t see them? I accept cash or cheque
Andy T I suspect if I pay 20 a day not to see them, this shitfest would make more money than they’d make from a tour.
This performance is incredible. The drumming/guitar solo/vocals etc sounded just like 77' - Ace actually sang the song!! Killer ending solo as well 🤘🏻
This is soooo cool!!!!!
Shock me was amazing! I’d love to see this lineup play again!!
if only paul and gene would let eric drum like this with the band.. he's so fucking good yet they dont let him drum with all of his skill.
They did when he was out of makeup in 91-95
That kicked ass.. 🎸🎶
A complete reunion is going to happen. All past and present members. It's going to happen.
That's what ive been saying & thinking they should do. at least this answers the question would Ace Jam with Bruce & Eric? , I just doubt peter would. oh yeah I forgot Vincent.
You hope they leave Peter Criss out? OMG

Wow, Eric is truly amazing!
dyrhee1 Yep, amazing at overplaying.
Marty White You’re nuts. I wouldn’t go as far as to call him amazing but this is solid drumming.
TheGodYouWishYouKnew Alone it is. It’s way too busy for the song. Just goes to show the dude had to let loose after 2 decades of playing like Catpiss.
Marty White Overdrumming detracts from a song. I feel Eric complimented the song well and did not take away from it. During the verses especially, he’s not doing very much.

Agreed! He does both vocals extremely well!!

Definitely wish ace laid back and let Bruce take some of these solos.... Ouch...
Alex Thorn why
im kind of a big deal Give the love gun solo a listen, it’s a little iffy
Loved Ace growing up. time catches us all i guess. I feel bad for the other players who can play in time and know their parts. To bruce& Eric- that had to be painful to endure on stage.
Ack!
Bob Kulick is the oddest looking guy. The looks like the offspring of a grey-faced alien and a white Mr. Clean.
I love Ace but I won't make excuses for him. He's fuckin up solos and riffs left and right.
Ahmed Smith he played pretty good on love gun, relatively speaking.
Yeah not to bad on Love Gun...

Ace doesn't remember Strutter lol. Still cool to see though
Not sure I wanna watch the rest of this after Ace couldn't even play the right chords for Strutter
First note, Ace fucks it up
I already see what the kiss next move is going to be there going to do one last farewell tour with all the members they're going to bring out Vinnie Vincent Bruce kulick half of the show and make up half of the show without makeup that will be the last and final Kiss tour they better hurry up those two dudes ain't getting any younger. the Gene and Paul
Jesus, Bob Kulick needs to get over himself with those moves. LOL
MrMustard :Beats Todd flippin that damn hair around.

Good lord Ace...time has not been kind to you has it?
get himoff
no suenan tan mal pero prefiero el sonido de kiss
Ace doesn't know even the parts of the guitar of the songs ... My God
Unfortunately you are right. My band can do this material, well way better. But, and it's a big but, I would have never picked up a guitar with out Ace Frehley. So, I will just grin and bear it.
Not as bad as the Frehley’s Vomit reunion, but still terrible.
The only one who is off key here , is Ace
