That house can be useful for hotel( shortlet) or tourist attractions for people to visit. It can be an excellent movie location as well to promote the place...
They should let it waste away...

@@abinibihub yeah museum will be good but it might not attract the necessary traffic to preserve it. Transforming it into a château for pple to spend weekend( guess you've seen the Marigold Hotel movie and the house used in House of Gucci at the sea front in Italy actually belong to A catholic Bishop).
That will be the best option to attract traffic that will pay for the maintenance.
