Frustrated Warrior fan here! Lack of size has been a big issue with this team over the last few years. Really showing itself against the Lakers last post season! How can you go into a season or games with such a disadvantage? Just giving away free easy points because you can do nothing to stop them or getting your wings and bigs in foul trouble so you really get murdered on the boards...Truth be told they should have signed Howard a couple of years ago! They should have went hard after McGee! They can package a few second rounders together and pick up a decent big from another team but to do nothing over and over again...I see them losing in the second round again which is too bad because they have everything they need to win it all except a little size!
It's about TJD..he's NBA ready,...played 4 years at a great school...Curry 3 years, Thompson 3 years and Green played 4 years at college. TJD would came out earlier but "The Vid" happened. He knows how to play center, he's been doing that his whole life. Like Curry and Thompson, he is a son of an NBA player. He won't be overwhelmed. Wiseman just played basketball, not center and looked confused sometimes,. In Davis you won't see that confusing, he's a plug and play. I like Wiseman still.
I guess we'll see. I'd love for TJD to be a plug and play center, be an impact player and a plus defender in year one. I know 4 yr college players are more ready to play, but that's alot of trust come playoff time.
The olden state warriors feels discombobulated. They're afraid of bigs because the track history of the warriors and bigs have not been a good one. Before the Curry Era, all their big man drafts and acquirements have not been fruitful. When they started concentrating more on talent rather than physical attribute, they started winning and welp, now a dynasty.
They need a real center who can rebound, rim protect and score. Loon is a very good rebounder, but doesn't look to score and does not rim protect. Every big team just takes it to the rim and scores on the Warriors almost every time with a layup.
So.... you're telling me that you intend to play SMALL BALL the entire season and playoffs ....in a conference that's full of length and height....and u expect to actually SUCCEED ????? Seriously !??? Smh 😐
AD is a complete monster in the paint. He would be a nightmare for Looney to guard. My opinion....Kerr is relying TOO MUCH on small ball speed to beat opponents. He HAS to adjust his thinking and get a big man. The main reason GSW was unbeatable in 2015 was because of ANDREW BOGUT 's presence in the paint. The moment he was out (injured) in 2016...the paint was wide open...and the Cavs beat GSW. By now, Kerr should see the wisdom of the past and adjust to the present. I really don't see GSW being successful without a big man.... and that disturbs me. 😐
Its funny to see these comments and not understanding how gs truly operate. Thanks swish for these content, now I can sleep peacefully. Now it all makes sense now
Just terrible. TJD is way better then Wiseman experience wise, but still just a rookie and its a very low likelihood he will go against the likes of AD Jokic successfully. Dwight when he was with the Lakers actually slowed down Jokic significantly . I really think this is just another of the long list of signs that Kerr will ride or die with his small ball lineup. Just like the FIBA cup where he failed in spectacular fashion.
Look at what Kerr did with team USA. He only had 1 center on the team, and he only played the bigs less than 15 min a game, and team USA got abused by bigger teams and couldn't even win a bronze medal.
Not trying to be funny( No pun intended) but this location will problem welcome Dwight more than any other demographic wise. He is definitely talented enough to help a team win a title. Ask the lakers.
I think it was smart not to rush into a contract with Dwight Howard it's a reason why he played in the China League All season and nobody picked him up.
We needs a big man they should have a agree to sign Dwight Howard after they had workouts on 2 days and went to Los Angeles to workout with Draymond Green and Chris Paul
I don't think that's it though. I think the players did like him and want him. The players gave their approval, and the Dubs front office didn't, so to make the players happy, they gave Dwight a low ball offer, hoping he wouldn't accept it. Dwight didn't accept the offer. The front office ( Kerr ) can save face by saying they made Dwight an offer and he refused. So the organization basically chose Kerr over the players.

"Expect the team to do what they did last year"...........barely make it out the first round and be eliminated in the 2nd by a team that knows bigs are necessary!
Kerr doesn’t know how to coach big man. Very ordinary coach without Curry! FIBA exposed this. Curry off ball movements and extraordinary shooting made his small ball play successful but you always need a big man!
After missing out on Javale McGee he instead of signing turn down Golden State Warriors contract to sign with Sacramento Kings We should a immediately sign Dwight Howard after We was interested in him
What's the definition of insanity? I saw something in coach Kerr last season and I don't like it, I've no confidence in him doing the right thing. See Swish, isn't that what I told you yesterday about Dwight Howard, you wouldn't listen? I just told you I didn't see him as a fit with this team. You doubted me and I proved you wrong once again, just as I told you they would move Jordan Poole, you thought I was crazy. Many of the things I know on basketball comes from playing a lot of basketball, studying basketball, and studying personalities and trends of players during the course of basketball games. Most fans don't "study" basketball, they simply watch it. I also told you the one player you've totally ignored, was Jonathan Kuminga, he's the ace in the hole player. As for those 2 way players, that's an absolute reach and they won't be receiving much playing time. Once again, I told you Saric and Looney were the 2 players they would play. As for Nerlen Noel, it's amazing how that dude dropped off the radar, this was a guy that was once battling with Joel Embiid for the starting center spot. But the thing that the common fan don't know, is that once a player gets traded, his market value drops each and every time he's traded despite his salary and skill set. I'll give you some examples, of players value plummeting once they got traded the first time. Antoine Walker, Shaquill Oneal, Jermaine Oneal, Ron Artest, Kendall Gill, Gary Payton, Dominique Wilkins, Marques Johnson, Scottie Pippen, Mark Price, Stephon Marbury, Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, Tim Hardaway, Tim Thomas, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Chris Paul, Rasheed Wallace, and many others. Your value is only valuable with the team that drafted you, so once you get traded, your nothing more than a pond. Traded players value with one team is only good for 3 years max if you can stay that long before being traded again. All those players I just named didn't last 3 years with one team before being moved again. Dwight Howard is not even a commodity anymore, he nothing more than a name from the past that's struggling for a team to take a chance on him. The longer he hangs around trying to catch on with a team, he become nothing more than a CBA caliber signing for a team, he should have retired and stayed over seas.
I think Howard wanted a spot where he will be promised a certain amount of playing time. If this it is it is a shame because he would have been a great 3rd string 5.
I don't think Dwight was that picky. I think he wants to come back home to the US to play another couple years. Who wants to be in China where you don't know anyone, nobody looks like you, and you can't speak the language? I think he would have been happy with a few minutes at the vet minimum, but they didn't even offer him that because of Kerr.
This is so stupid. I get the point of saving a roster spot I suppose but what's the point of Corey Joseph? I think cut Corey and sign Dwight and then you can have that spare slot
For some reason that's why they would not be a championship team anymore they need a big man in they have enough good shooting they have the best out there Steph Curry Klay Thompson they got good power forwards so now they need a decent Center this makes no sense bad decision on the front office bad...

The Dubs are not going to find anyone better at this stage of FA. The season will start soon, and the Warriors are in big trouble when they play big teams. We shall see if this will work.

Yall stretching, he cleaned said not before training camp, for there is still a possibility they can bring him on after training camp. Rules & Regulations

Like I said KERR doesn't want a real center his past history last four year indicates it.

He said not sign Before training camp... i think the window is still open
bro we need to add him and keep searching until we do get what we need.
Are you serious, I thought Dwight was gonna come for sure
I know 4 yr college players are more ready to play, but that's alot of trust come playoff time.
you’re giving Wisebust waaaaay too much credit - he looked confused 90-93% of the time & his ball IQ is in the negative
What’s the vid?

This is crazy to me...Dwight is a Jokic stopper...They gonna regret not having a veteran big
I wanna know what the yellow yam are the thinking????!!!!
I thought that possibly they just think very highly of TJD and/or Jace.
Smh 😐
Exactly! Looney can't and handle AD and Jokic in the playoffs.
We’re fine. This is fine 🥹
Lol...😆
Weird. I thought they would
The got Kuminga! He's a freaking 7 footer now!
Think the new CBA does NOT allow them to sign most contract buyouts during the season
I'm fine in not getting Howard but the problem is the likes of Jokic and Davis. 🥴
Could be at this point in Howards career, he is not better than Jayce Johnson. Warriors will just roll the dice with the youngster.
Steve Kerr has publicly affirmed his belief in Loon but he needs to support Loon with another big if he wants him to last another maybe 7 years.
We’ll see what happens entering the season….But I agree with Swish’s breakdown here….
We needs a big man they should have a agree to sign Dwight Howard after they had workouts on 2 days and went to Los Angeles to workout with Draymond Green and Chris Paul
Why not sign him, one year veteran minimum contract is a no risk sign. Howard’s a future hall of famer, numbers don’t lie.
Is David West available
I do not see a championship without Dwight . Im out on smallball
Jokic is super impressive. Who matches up?
Dwight didn’t pass Dray and Cp3’s expectations.. 😅
Dubs will probably wait for mid-season to get a big man!
It takes time for them to adapt you just can't plug in a big
@@gregking7498 Dray n Cp3 expectations is just my kind of joke.. that’s why there’s this 😅 there.. i also know that besides Dray n CP3.. Steph n Klay also approved of Dwight’s coming to the Warriors.. im thinking Dubs offered a veteran minimum and probably Dwight needs more and a guarantee.. not gon happen! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
GSW can't afford to pay more than what DH wanted. They're already way beyond paying salary tax. Agreed with the lowball offer though.
How do you know what they were offering him?
We must be broke or something
Dwight Howard should’ve been signed to help Looney, not getting a veteran rim protector is going to put a strain on the team.
Dwight played overseas...that tells you all you need to know about his diminished skillset...😮😮😮
What's the nickname for the starting line...........
That’s a dumb decision
Come to Memphis
This is a mistake. Fans are looking a other USA FIBA situation. Other wing is bull, just another 6-7 to 6-8 person. No threat of blocked shots or rebound help.
Dubs don't need to make a move until prior to the playoffs...😮😮😮
It's just crazy to be in a world where Looney has a starting Job over Dwight and Blake Griffin. I need to sit in on an NBA workout to try to understand their decision making process... Makes no sense to me
Obvious you're such a casual fan. Go look at what Looney had in rebounds during their most recent playoff run.

Kerr doesn’t know how to coach big man. Very ordinary coach without Curry! FIBA exposed this. Curry off ball movements and extraordinary shooting made his small ball play successful but you always need a big man!
After missing out on Javale McGee he instead of signing turn down Golden State Warriors contract to sign with Sacramento Kings We should a immediately sign Dwight Howard after We was interested in him
I can’t take the warriors serious anymore they will like to see us get pounded in the paint like we always do Steve Kerr never like bigs
WHY IS MIKE DUNKLEAVY A GENERAL MANAGER?
KARMA HITS WHEN LOONEY GETS INJURED
I think they didn't sign him because of the lawsuit Dwight is facing. That'll cause distraction not only to Dwight but for the whole team.
What's the definition of insanity? I saw something in coach Kerr last season and I don't like it, I've no confidence in him doing the right thing.
Whilst I understand that they couldn't change the system to facilitate Wiseman, a lot of the other stuff just made no sense to me. So quite frankly none of this surprises me. I'm not even excited about my team anymore

I'm a bit disappointed and Im sorry to say it but this might/may/will hurt them in order to make a trophy run. And not having Dwight in the lineup is a BIG mistake. However, they don't want to see him injured and who's willing to back him up? They better do something soon or else.
HUGE MISTAKE! I'm not sure what they were thinking. We were destroyed due to our small size. Looney is not enough! We need size.
996ym
I think Howard wanted a spot where he will be promised a certain amount of playing time. If this it is it is a shame because he would have been a great 3rd string 5.
I don't think Dwight was that picky. I think he wants to come back home to the US to play another couple years. Who wants to be in China where you don't know anyone, nobody looks like you, and you can't speak the language? I think he would have been happy with a few minutes at the vet minimum, but they didn't even offer him that because of Kerr.
Small Ball is dead as shown by the loss for the US in FIBA, and the losses by Golden state in the NBA Playoffs. The Warriors need a center.
This is so stupid. I get the point of saving a roster spot I suppose but what's the point of Corey Joseph? I think cut Corey and sign Dwight and then you can have that spare slot
I agree cut Cory Joseph and now sign Dwight Howard doing training camp for golden state Warriors
Curtis Broseph was signed because Mike Dumbfeefees & Nick Kerr’s dad know that Stephanie Corny & CPOverrated will miss at least 20-30 games each

Why won't the Warriors get a real big man. They don't need to trade with another team. There are bigs available in the free market. They can't hold leads due to having to work hard on rebounding and protecting the rim. Paul G. was right. The entire league knows that they can't protect the basket. They could use D. Howard now. The have to be the shortest team in the league.
