I studied medical lab technology but I want to add a nursing course....these videos are so helpful
When disinfecting the site, you clean with one continuous spiralling stroke starting from a central point then outwards and not the back and forth strokes demonstrated here.
Also important not to apply the surgical tapes under pressure as that could cause stasis within the vein. Tegadem is preferred, if available.

Here in South America the cannulas are different, for example we do not have alcohol measured if we use tape, we do not use pegaderm only in private clinics I like their technique.
Telling to use surgical gloves and showing a picture of examination gloves,there is a lot of difference in terms of sterility between these gloves

Here i find to mistakes 1. paper plaster is not suitable for cannula fixation 2. After cannula fixation before stick the easy fix give flush in cannula if any swellings seen or patient feel pain u should remove the cannula
