I totally understand that! When I’m biking the wind noise is just too much so I need that extra push and even though it’s not natural it still sound way better than biking without it.
thanks for the video. in osmo poket 3 can it record a separate audio track from the video itself? Or can you only record audio over the video? I'm interested in knowing if I can edit the microphone audio in post-production.
What’s the sound quality of the environmental noise while cycling? You didn’t stop taking for a second unfortunately and I’m interested to know how it records everything else than talking. I’m sure you’ve got a lot of footage edited out where you’re weren’t talking, right?
I already bought the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter only last month. And I'm very much interested in the Mic Mini Transmitter Only too because of the size. Should I order the Mini? What do you think?
It depends on what you plan on using it with. If osmo pocket or action? Yeah for sure!! If with a camera or phone you need to buy the whole kit unless they update the mic 2 system work with the mini
Thanks for this informative video. I’m on the fence of getting it for all my pocket 3 vlogging and a more minimal setup. I also have the mic 2. But I’m not if I should just get the mic or with the receiver. (For potential workcqlls on my laptop) if the mic 2 receiver would work with the mic mini that would be awesome. But Is that realistic?
It’s realistic, however dji are the ones that would need to implement it, if they do that a huge props to them. However most companies in their situation wouldn’t because they would want you to buy both systems
@@ReachFilmscool. I live in Broward County, not too far from the beach. It looked familiar but I guess I don’t get to the beach enough to know for sure. 👍
@ trying to find the best mic for cycling trips. The GoPro audio is not terrible but a blue tooth connected mic would be best. I think the mic 2 will connect with Bluetooth
@ the problem is when you connect via Bluetooth the audio quality is quite terrible. When I was using the GoPro I was using the media mod and a wireless mic system hooked in through the audio jack on the media mod. The audio quality was terrific but it was yet another thing to bring for the GoPro
@ thanks for your help with this. Most my audio is recorded while riding so the media mod won’t work well under those circumstances. Appreciate the info.
Sounds great. I prefer the built-in voice isolation since it doesn’t eliminate 100% of the background noise. It’s more natural sounding.

Great test!
Clear explanation, thank you Sir for sharing, I just bought it yesterday

I believe you can do that in that app, not 100% sure tho

It depends on how much wind is there, this was a first impressions video not a full review
I hardly heard any wind noise at all, more background noises. I think you'll start using the Mini more than the Mic 2!
@@InfiniteSuccessAcademy just for the size alone!!! I don’t think it’s much worse or worse at all compared to the mic 2 just for basic audio recording
Great video ! I wander if the mini mic is sweatproof because I ride bike in Brazil in very hot weather. I appreciate if you address this.
@@MACDRONEPRODUTORA thanks! I haven’t used it long term yet enough to know if that would be the case but hopefully soon!

@ReachFilms I'm using it on my Action 5 Pro. I'm still confused if I'm going to order Mini Tx only.
@ if you don’t need the full kit (like I didn’t either) and only need one mic just go for the tx
@ReachFilms thank you so much
Sounds great to me. Shoutout to that mini magnet!😂
If you needed to use 2 mics at the same time for the pocket 3 could you use the 2 & the mini together?
Just tested and yes you can use both together, as you can use two transmitters with the pocket 3 and it allows both kinds to be used together
What if 3 mic at the same time uses Bluetooth?
@ I’m not sure what your question is? But the osmo pocket is limited to two microphones
I can use the mic mini and mic 2 on DJI Osmo Pocket 3

Thanks! It’s Fort Lauderdale beach

@@CAMTechChrisgotcha makes sense!
Does the mini pair with GoPro 13?
@@FloridaBikeAdventures no but if you buy the full kit and have the GoPro media mod at that point it would work with the GoPro.
