Guess you are are born a bit stupid huh? Tell me about being a doctor and having the ability to parrot info out of books like a dumbo, getting a degree which makes you somehow magically born smarter than you actually were?
I just sit on front of the doctors and ask some stuff about the human body, then most of them will fail since they study medicine/pharmaceutics and can set your bones or stitch/glue open wounds but for the rest they dont know shit.
On top of that I know physiology, dieet, sports, movements etc all how to make yourself mentally and physically stronger and keep it that way without falling into degeneration... Degeneration is the point you commenters probably all reside in, not my problem; it's called natural selection. Sometimes you come across people who are better in things in less time.
Even my friend who did a cum laude in maths isnt smart at all, he is a vegan; so not smart enough to feed himself ;)
I am full of it? Try a discussion and I wipe the floor with all of you at once; and even then probably I dont have a challenge.
Call your doctors and let them work together against me here proving they are born smarter than me.... good luck, will be a laugh putting them in place. If you look up to those folks I wish you luck with the 50% probability of getting cancer dumbo

Bryce took this fight on 10 days notice I think and that massive weight cut from around 165/170 pounds to 145 is bad but when you haven't been training and take a fight on short notice on top of cutting excessive amounts of weight are shock to the body and this is why weight cutting sucks but it is so much worse when you haven't been sparring and training to build up your body's readiness for something like this. Kudos for Josh he's one of my favorites in the featherweight division but short notice fights are really a bad idea especially for the lower weight classes who cut large amounts of weight.

This was the worst knockout I've seen in years. It was the kind that feels different to watch, like you were supposed to see a knockout, but you have this visceral dread that what you just saw wasn't a knockout. It makes you think about how, by some miracle, no UFC fighter has EVER died in the cage or immediately after a fight, and how you might have just watched the first.

You usually see these reactions on the streets when people get blindsided or hit their heads on the pavement, we don't often see them in the UFC.
The way his neck jerked down when he was hit was scary at the base , I wonder if that jerk set something off.
Usually its lights out and the brain resets from darkness, but it was almost the opposite, and the brain has too many lights on and can't control them all so has to reset by slowly leaving the right ones on and switching off the ones that put him into spasm.

I've had this happen twice in training. First time was a sparring knockout where the guy moved in on a punch I threw and it caught his just right. He dropped, was out for maybe 15 second, and seized a little as he was coming out. The other was much more scary. We were working small package, I was on the bottom and managed to post up a forearm into my partner's sternum, and really twisted it into his gi top. That kept weight off but I still needed him off me, so I started grabbing, got his gi, and somehow managed a sliding lapel choke. He slumped, unconscious, and I didn't realize it initially, just thought he was sinking weight. Coach realized it and pulled him off me. We got him into recovery position and waited. Took him almost three minutes to wake up and he seized up toward the end. It was scary as hell.

Would you say that as a general rule, when someone is having a seizure it’s a good idea to try and stabilize their head as we see in the video? Also, I’m a big fan of MMA but I’m always curious as to what steps to take when someone has been KOd, and if providing an ice pack immediately would be of any benefit considering potential swelling in the brain.
