Thanks Simon. Definitely on my shopping list and with your video setting up should be a breeze.

    Fantastic video once again!
I've just set a bunch of these up recently using the Xiaomi BLE integration (thanks to one of your older videos). But there i did notice that when one of them ran out of battery, it started asking for a new bind key, which would be a pain if i expand from 4 of these to let's say 12.
Guess i'll be re-flashing some sensors tonight :)

Great to hear you liked the video Mark. Yes it will be interesting to see what the limit of these BLE sensors is :)

wow this was such a great video. I integrated mine the old way but last time it's battery ran out the integration completely stopped working for some reason and I could not get it back on. This was the way to go!

Since yesterday, my devices are no longer working with this integration, even though they had been working fine for months. Do you know what might be the issue?

That is really odd, are you still picking up signals from your other bluetooth devices?

Yes, other devices are working fine.
Thank you for your response! :)
I've tried everything-redoing the connections using the flasher, deactivating and activating the sensors in BT Home, and unconfiguring them, but nothing worked.

Hi what is the bluetooth range of these sensors to the HA server? Thanks

Hi the range seems to be about 8m or so

@@simonsayshomeassistant Thanks for the reply. I have bought 8 of the Zigbee version on the hope to get better range to my HA sever with a Sonoff Zigbee dongle. Not installed yet but hopeful. Thanks

Received my sensor yesterday and following your video it was an easy process to flash it. When I ran Telink Flasher it detected all the BT devices in the room as well as the sensor. The sensor today is still sending data to HA so still connected via the proxy but I wanted to adjust the temperature offset to align with some other sensors so I ran the Telink Flasher again but it now does not find any BT devices in the area. I have restarted HA but no joy. Any suggestions on what is wrong? Thanks.

I am playing with the Telink flasher now and it seems that the server is not connected. I would wait some time and then try resting the sensor back to stock firmware and then start from scratch again.
