Wow, that finished river module looks amazing! Glad you put that in your intro! I was seriously considering getting that same gas station from Walthers! You did a nice job on it, but it's a shame that people will only see the backside. Oh well. I just wanted to thank you for making all these videos. I've watched quite a few, and they have given me a LOT of great information on model railroading, especially T-Trak. You have become my RUclips mentor! I have been an armchair model railroader most of my life, due to lack of room for a big layout, but I decided that this year I will finally try my hand at T-Trak, after being really impressed with the modules I've seen at train shows, and the fact that it takes up so little space. So I started looking for more information about it, and found your channel on RUclips, and have been hooked ever since! I have been accumulating KATO track and trains these past few months, and have enough to make a simple oval layout using a handful of modules. It's not much, but it will get me started. Thanks again for all you do!
Thank you so much for your comments. I really love the T-trak approach to model railroading. Each module is both a doable project, and an easily stored compact unit. My layout started out as two singles I took to shows, and four corner module kits. I called it my "incremental" layout, with each new module expanding my budding N-scale empire. Over the past six or so years it has grown to 24 total modules, and pretty much fills a 12' square room. All this plus the ability to take these modules to train shows and share it with the public makes for a wonderful experience. I really hope you enjoy this T-trak journey you have started, and I would love the see your progress - Kevin.
Great video Bud. Great job on the gas station. With that McDonalds, reminds me of Main and Beaufort in Normal in the 60's. Come to think of it, that was Terrys Standard on MAIN? Fun video! :)
The new module looks great! Will be a nice addition, funny I find myself taking cars off the lay that don’t really fit my decade. Nice to hear about Decatur show, I’ll be checking my schedule, great update thanks for sharing!
