We perform a cam out leak down test and PULL THE CYLINDER HEAD on our 2011 Elantra!

Unfortunately for this Elantra we have some piston to valve contact in atleast 2 of our cylinders.

Change only the bent ones , if you change all valves the engine will start to burn oil because of increased pressure by the new valves

My 2011 has a timing chain.

The sedans will have a chain! The touring, however, is based on the previous generation ELANTRA, and will still sport a timing belt
