this is perfect dawg, it also translates over to the mk7 gti autobahn. i have the fender system in mine and i was trying to wire my amp to the stereo in my glove box. i’ve been trying to find the right video, and here it is
Is there a guide to removing the trim to run your wires or do they just pop off pretty easily? Any tips or anything to look out for? Just don't want to break any clips.
Ive got a 2021 Jeta with the beats audio (garbage) And I have been looking for an install of the lineout converter from the Factory sub wiring. I am going to look at the harness in the trunk and see if it looks similar to the one in your video.
Hey man, a couple of questions what year is your Volkswagen Tiguan and where did you get the remote wire fuse connector and which one of those prongs does it plug into?
So I tried tapping into the subwoofer in my mk7.5 gti w/fender audio and it didn’t work for me, I wired everything pretty much the same. Can I just tap the LOC to the factory amp that has the speaker wires on the plug ?
No it doesn’t need to be unplugged. It doesn’t interrupt the signal to the subwoofer. It’s no different than if you used it on a car that had no subwoofer from the factory and had to get signal from a door speaker.
I have a 2024 VW Atlas and I’m trying to do the exact thing and every time I search your video always comes up. The 4 wires on my factory sub plug have different colors though. There are 3 whites. One with a red stripe. One with a brown stripe. One with a yellow stripe. Then the 4th wire is black with yellow stripe. How do I know which wires to tap into?
The brown and black wires will be your negative terminals. The red and yellow will be the positive. Each positive wire should have a negative right next to it. Use whichever negative wire is closest to that positive wire that you choose.
You’ll have to tap into the back of the head unit in the glovebox. You need special tools to remove it and will need the wiring diagram to know which wires go to a speaker.

I’m in the same boat, but I can’t understand how he tapped into the dynaudio sub wires. Could I get a clearer explanation of the wire connections?
Thank you bro I just got a new Tiguan R-Line. Saved me so much time researching. Nice video !
Did you end up installing the subwoofer in your Tiguan yet?
Great pocket on those Tiguans. I installed my Airtank there for my airsuspension.
Thanks .
If you roll your car, theat speaker could kill you. Tie it down.
I would like to do same, but just audio speakers. Leave factory setup and add amp and 4 more speakers for voice.
Great video man! And you just tapped into the same speaker wires going straight into your factory Subwoofer?

Awesome bro
By far the easiest vehicle to do a system in
why the extra remote wire to the front? The one on the loc is also an output.
That's why I'm looking at these comments sections I'm so confused
On my 2015 sport wagon I have yellow and light yellow & brown and brown white wires. Any thoughts on what to tap into?

Great vid! Would you know if the oem fender sub needs to be plugged in for the kicker LOC to provide a signal?

Thanks for taking the time to reply! I got it up and running!
For the gray speaker leads, which one is negative and which ones positive
Red is positive. Brown is negative.
Gonna do this on my mk7 gti with the fender audio is it all the same as this car?
Should be the same
