On thursday 3rd October, 2024 the Sierra Leone Hockey Clubs including few members from seven (7) communities clubs pay courtesy visit to the Minister of Sport Madam Augusta James Teima at her office Ministry of Sport (MOS) Bishop House National Stadium.
The visit was climax with a presentation by the Interim President; Abubakarr Sesay on the background of Hockey in Sierra Leone, Activity Plan for 2024 and the progress made so far with support from the 🇸🇱Hockey Trust🏑
In attendance from MOS were;
Minister of Sport, Deputy Minister of Sport, Permenent Secertary, Director of Sport, and other senior officials.
An lmagery Plaque, Hockey Stick, & Ball were presented to the Minister of Sport in recognition of her dedication and hard work in the development of sport in 🇸🇱
In her statement, the Hon. Minister Augusta James Teima thank the executive of Sierra Leone Hockey Club🇸🇱🏑 for there tremendious commitment, effort & dedication in promoting young people in sport trough Hockey.
Madam James Teima further stated that, among the visit of associations; the
SL Hockey Clubs🇸🇱🏑 is the largest deligation I have meet with science i took office.
She also enphasise on the government comitment to support sport associations by way of empowering children and youths development.
She promise to callborate with the interim executive to promote SL Hockey Clubs🇸🇱🏑 to go national and international level.
She express thanks and appreciation for the gift of her image plaque, Hockey Stick & Ball presented to her🙏🙏
