Did people permit him peace and quiet? Do we give him any now? “The Lord gave me to know how displeased He is with a talkative soul. ‘I find no rest in such a soul. The constant din tires Me, and in the midst of it, the soul cannot discern My voice.’” St Faustina, Diary, no. 1008.
@@FrJohnCorriganI live just like a monk, Father John. I'm a lay celibate working at home and agree with Sister Faustina. Thanks for the Mass and God bless.
In an interview, Father John said he was a parish priest and a 12 year old girl advised him to shave his beard to get women's attention. She perhaps hadn't seen such a young priest and or didn't quite understand celibacy.
😂 That’s not quite right. It was a class of much younger children. Grade 2s or something. At the age where there is total sincerity and no filters. “No offense, Fr John, but if you want a girlfriend, you need to shave the beard.” When I assured the class that I didn’t want a girlfriend because a priest doesn’t marry, the consensus was that Jesus had a beard, so I should too. (This is many years ago, when I was barely 30!!)

Amen Richard.
Aquinas taught that God is Eternity. So THE Almighty Father.
Thanks be to God.
Thank you Holy Spirit for allowing a bitter man to converse with Father John here.
This is partly why my Catholic grandpa would have an afternoon nap.
Fr John Corrigan, thank you for sharing Mass For You at Home. Dad and I are watching from LYNDOCH Living in Warrnambool.
I love living in Mildura, but I do miss windy Warnambool, and all the great people there! God bless everyone at Lyndoch. 🙏
@@FrJohnCorrigan we miss you in Warrnambool, but are glad you have been embraced so well in the Mildura community
Did Christ ever have any peace and quiet?
Did people permit him peace and quiet? Do we give him any now?

@@FrJohnCorrigan Sorry I misquoted. I thought I was called to the priesthood at 25, but the bishop said no.
