Meaning: -------- This body is a poisonous creeper, whereas the Master is the well of nectar. So if you have to surrender your head to get the true Master, consider it a bargain. 3) Satguru din dayalu hai, daya kari mohe aaj. koti janam ka panth tha, pal me diya pahonchay. Meaning: -------- My master is very merciful and loving, please bestow your blessings upon me today. Path to freedom/liberation/mukti was 10 Million lives away (according to Hindu mythology), you just made me cross in a second with your guidance/love/grace. 4) Kabira te nar andh hai, jo guru ko kehte aur Hari ruthe guru thor hai, guru ruthe nai thor. Meaning: -------- Kabir says that the people who do not understand Guru are blind. If God is displeased with us then Guru is there for salvation. If he is displeased there can be no salvation. 5) Guru kumbhar shish kumbh hai, Gadhi gadhi kadhe khot. Antar hath sahar dai, Bahar mare chot. Meaning: -------- Guru is the Potter, disciple is the (unbaked) pot Gives Shape and cures the flaws with care Protecting (always) with palm from inside While pounding the pot from outside
