    There is a eject button on top right corner. You press it and the screen slides down and the cd comes out if there is any. Then you put another cd and the screen slides back up

    Is there any chance you still have this? I need a video of someone zeroing out the bass and treble from the minimums so i can count the clicks and copy it in my unit with a broken screen before installing a new system.

      it might be the tone button, but not sure. I sold the car a long time ago.

      +constantin58 thanks yes its a 330ci convertible on the m3 sportspacket with very low mileage.. Almost new.. Great car indeed.. Found what those led are for at last.. They are the phone call led status.. Mine are not lighted up because mine does not have the Bluetooth module installed.. Cheers

    Can we put that on a regular e46, which doesnt have it stock? And use it normaly?

    • @constantin58
      @constantin58  2 года назад

      why would you? The screen is very outdated, it doesn't have any useful information.

      @@constantin58 i love oem. Thats it. Do you know if we can put one of those and use it. And another question, can we have actualizations of the map?

      @ It's not worth doing it, you'll spend a lot of time and money and when you sell the car the value won't increase. It probably can be done, but don't take my word for it. You may encounter issues with brackets, cables, car coding (not sure if coding required on this model) . I believe in the trunk you have to buy a CD reader for maps which may or may not have cables ready for hookup.

    Does it fit regular E46? I have regular 2004 325 with stock navigation and I wonder if i can change it to yours?

    • @constantin58

      you mean oem navigation to this oem navigation MKIII ? it should fit, but beware that coding might be needed. (not sure) I'd recommend rather install aftermarket with bluetooth, apple car play or android auto, touchscreen. In the description there are parts needed (older parts can find similar newer) , although i'm not sure if in a sedan Janus design bracket is needed because if i remember correctly there is more space behind radio in a sedan. (different A/C vent structure)

      If you compare stock vs stock sound on bmw then yes. Aftermarket sound costs much more on newer cars because of physical limitation at 4" and less improvements can be made.
      This was the last series that could fit 6.25" aftermarket speakers in doors.
      After 2006 - bmw has only 4" speakers with underseat subs.
      For ex i got 4" morel hybrid that cost near $700 a pair and the mids which are the best for it's size are barely on par with 6.25" Alpine spr-60c ($150). Highs are of course top notch on morel.

    I have the same monitor, I am trying to get to the back of it to see if I can add an auxiliary! How the fuck do you get it out?

    • @constantin58
      @constantin58  10 лет назад

      You can't connect anything to monitor. You will need something like this: www.amazon.com/iSimple-ISBM72-Interface-without-5-Volt/dp/B001ANXPPS and connect it in the trunk where the plug for cd changer is, near the mkIII navigation drive from what i remember. change/fastforward tracks works on steering wheel or display.
      Then you buy a ipod to aux adapter. It's all plug and play, maybe 30 minutes to run the wire.
