AVEC - Home

When I think about the meaning of life itself and what it could be about, it sometimes feels like an endless loop really, where we try to accomplish things, try to make the right choices, where we’re often captured in between holding on to something and letting go in the end.
HOME tells the story of this surreal feeling of love and safety, being whole again and finally able to let your guard down, to feel home. I think of it more as a person than a place or 4 walls. so having found your home, after a while you start to realise, that you’re somehow losing all of these feelings and all you’re holding on to after all is just the illusion of what it could have been.

Warum dieses Lied nicht in den Charts und in sämtlichen Radiosendern rauf und runter läuft, ist mir ein Rätsel.❓ Durch Zufall hab ich Ö3 in Deutschland empfangen und da lief dieser traumhaft schöne Song. Vielen Dank für dieses wunderschöne Lied! Wir haben dieses im Rahmen des #LEWITTMusicChallenge neu interpretiert , besser gesagt neu eingesungen mit dem zur Verfügung gestellten Material. Allerdings sind wir nicht ganz ohne Ehrfurcht ans Werk gegangen - zu groß war der Respekt vor dem künstlerischen Werk, insbesondere vor diesem akzentuierten und tiefsinnigen Text.
