2.0L Crosstrek? 2.5 would have enough power. Especially if Xmode was avail. Hard not to wonder if the Crisstrek wouldn’t have made that hill if it was the first or second vehicle on it.
Yup the 2L! We find even with X-mode on and the throttle down it just sits there ahaha, yeah if it was first or second it might of had just enough traction to prevent it from running into the dirt.
@@mmiller1188 interesting. I find my Impreza CVT is harsh at low speeds but does a remarkable job holding “gears” in manual mode. The Crosstrek still did remarkably well with few if any modifications. Impressice cars
It might, but if you take a look at the Outback XT video it was able to 'crawl' through stuff so I am leaning towards power. I believe those have a high torque fluid in them though.

Thanks for the adventure ❣️
Thanks for watching!!
I love watching your adventures!
Haha I’ll be buying a torque locker here soon
Awesome, you know were to go to get that ;) Looking forward to seeing it how it works!
Aren't you afraid of rolling when it is sliding backwards😱?
As long as we are in reverse and don't lock up the wheels so we drive back we are usually good!
@@Chase_Schrader Stay safe ❣

It's limiting power to the CVT unfortunately. The 2.5L probably would have done the same
