Preffer the Simjack seq shifter, might not have extra buttons but sounds "clack" which I like more than "click" as this one does. Also you can save £20/£30 with the simjack. However I think this shifter offer many premium advantages at affordable price, which is really appreciated in the overpriced world of simracing. Like always a simple unbox video almost look like a full review in this channel, day after day I love this channel more and more 🙏
I was about to order the Simjack shifter and then this came out the next day and decided to wait. Now after seeing a few vids, I think I’m going to stick with the Simjack. This thing just doesn’t have a great sound.
Please do a tear down of this shifter in the review if possible! I’d love to see if it would be possible to replace the ball bearing retainers with stronger ones for a higher strength!

ASMR Unboxing
When undertaking the review, can you see if it's possible to map the lever to the throttle as a secondary button? I recall watching an Aussie supercars broadcast a few years ago and they were explaining that on the downshift, the drivers could either blip the throttle with the pedal so heel and toeing it or blip the throttle by pulling the knob backwards as they pushed the shifter forwards. Really keen to find out if that's something that could be done with this bit of kit.

The lever is a button input, so it's on/off, and not analogue. Probably better with the pedal for blipping. I'll give it a go though.
Can you map it so when you pull the lever up front and pull the shifter back to work as a handbreak?
If a game allows to map an input combo then I don't see why it wouldn't work

I am in a position to make any shifter on this planet, but i am ok with this one, price, looks, and feeling.. If you want to burn money, why not. just buy what you think is premium.
thinking of moving away from my SRS sequential shifter due to some misshifts, how do the click feel in comparison to the SRS?
It's a long time since I had the SRS. I just went back to my old videos on that one to get a refresher. I would say the SRS has a bit more tension and a snappier action.

@@AshHobson It might be worth seeing if you can fix your SRS. On balance, I do prefer the feel of the SRS, but it's not worlds apart.

Yes he has the Moza shifter. honestly I can understand where you are coming from, performance and looks of the shifter do match the price point. It looks very cheap and ugly to be honest. Moza need to break out of the market of making cheap entry level products to reflect their R3 & R5 bundles. I have the Simagic Q1 which is feels and sounds like pure quality for 3 times the price but it was 100% worth it. just remember buy cheap buy twice.
@@flashlikeadobe I'm usually happy seeing price/performance stuff, more people can access it, more competition etc. So I didn't expect that clicking sound to throw me off the way it did. Going high quality is a rewarding experience 100%. Q1 looks killer, enjoy!
@@flashlikeadobe totally agree. It looks decent, seems to perform decent. People just need to be realistic for what it is. This is not at the same level as a Simagic so it shouldn't be compared, ever.
If I have the Moza handbrake can I tether them together with the RJ45 connector and just have one USB connected to the PC or do I need 2x USB cables?

I haven't measured that yet. But that will be covered in the review. But as a reference point, it's quite light.

Too bad you can't side mount this shifter.
Looks decent, sounds awful like a toy though. It's consistent with moza equipment though. It looks good but the performance and quality is sub par compared to the price. Folks buying this should not be mistaken that this is of same level or quality as Simagic or Heusinkveld.
It's not really reasonable comparing products, where the price points are massively different. That's all I have to say on that.
Bro comparing a 110 shifter with a 500 one, not everyone got that dentist money for a hobby 😂😂
