Dave's endo turns are fantastic! I actually enjoy the trail banter between you guys. Might I suggest you get Dave mic'd up so we can hear him better without needing to crank up the volume. Also nice to see VanCan make an appearance 👍
Don't know if you've already done it, but you should check out Arduum which is right by this trail. There's a ton of rock on it which I'm sure you'll enjoy as there are numerous line options, all challenging. Don't attempt when wet. Lower down are some big features including some hits that recently received a lot of love.
Ok, I know this is your vid Dale, but mostly Dave comments from me this week. That sustained nose pivot by Dave followed by a quick pivot the other direction was ridiculous. Soooo cool. And as Lynx mentioned, Dave’s fitness seems to have improved… well, mostly, lol! he did let out one of his classic complainy “aaaaahs” near the end when he suggested you lead. And the bonus log ride at the end - again, super cool. Anyway, love watching you all ride as a group!
I remember trying to do.... and I emphasize trying...to do stuff like this on a raleigh chopper when I was a kid.....it didnt always go, let alone go well. Having said that the three major accidents I have had on a bike were on roads, so there you go.
Sweet, sweet old school tech. Either your mic isn't working as good as it used to, or DDs fitness has drastically improved, no longer hearing the gasping breath on the tech climbs 😆 Revisit on the Revolver, bet it'd be perfect for that sort of trail, even with the steeps.
Yeah...I'd have crashed at the first turn. And the second. And the third.... Hell, I'll meet you all the access road. You're gonna need a shuttle back to the top.
Nice trail! Never ridden at Red either... man could do with some of that weather during this monsoon. Crazy winds tomorrow is gonna mean a lot of blowdown.
Sorry for the dumb question, but did you have to ride that uphill or is there some road or ski lift that did most of the heights instead of pedaling up ?
Thanks ! In France I can't find such trails, I have to pedal uphill first, I'm left with way less energy for handling the downhill, so I'm almost glad all I find is way less techy ;) Maybe I'll search some more and try to spend more time DH ;)
Ahah, ok ! Thanks for clarifying! gravel road sounds easyer to climb that what I get which is mostly the same up than down. But still, behind most of your vids I wasn't sure but I now understand there's probably a pedal stroke behind each inch of elevation even when not on video. That's still a lot more effort than I put in for now, especially with your DH bikes. Congrats!
I wish we could see your pivot turns, but seeing some of Dave's were killer! You guys can really shred
I did my best to match, but probably not as prolonged!

Some of the best mtb content on RUclips mate, picture quality is amazing. Thanks for the taking us with you
Awesome job, this trail is not forgiving. Dave’s pivot turns are so satisfying to watch, keep up the awesome content!
Dude. Those endo turns are cool as hell
You are so good. This is my new fav mtb channel I’ve binged every video
4:50 Dave does a slo-speed endo around a steep tight corner. Class-sick.
Norco dio 😍 beautiful trail
Is it just me, or did the pace pick up considerably when Dave took the lead? You guys make this stuff look so easy
It’s vancans big rig. 🤣
The trail definitely opened up and turned more downhill at the same time haha. Nic was right on me.
I got a spurcycle bell specifically for jumps and drops. Thanks for the inspiration!
Haha, spread the stoke! 🤘
Me at the 7 minute saying to myself "this trail looks horrible" - you two seconds later "wow this trail is so good"

That was our first lap as a warmup, Brian has done fantastic work on it this year. Will have to return someday for the big drop!
I found myself holding my breath quite a few times during this run. Skills guys!
Dave dabbed....finally. Great vid Dale, thx.
I'm working on a compilation. 😂
Very nice trail Bro
Wow!! nice love the video quality

Funny enough, this was filmed before most of the videos I uploaded this summer! 😆
So good as always Dale love the content!

Would be a darn fun Revolver trail!
Yeah...I'd have crashed at the first turn. And the second. And the third....

Cool video and a nice trail 🤘🔥
Hey dale! Trail looks fun!
That's me!
Nice trail! Never ridden at Red either... man could do with some of that weather during this monsoon. Crazy winds tomorrow is gonna mean a lot of blowdown.
Let's hope it isn't as bad out there as we expect...
Most British looking trail so far
The right flavour for sure!
"Aw that's a corner." Dale Stone, c.2021
I'm pissed off man! All this time , I wasn't even subscribed! Felt like a must!
Even on video it looks like Ontario!
I'm assuming this trail was machine cut, but a lot of it looks done by hand
I suspect that half of it is repurposed old logging roads cleaned up by hand, and the other half cut by hand alone.
You are so cool
hi i love ur vids keep it up :)
0:02 is that dude some kind of sorcerer ?
Can you help me with your Gopro Settings and chest mount set up? Looks great- enjoy your content!!!!
Chin mount, and I'm not sure what the exact settings are!
Love your videos Dale! The quality is insane, what are your GoPro settings?
If I knew them, I'd tell you!
Sorry for the dumb question, but did you have to ride that uphill or is there some road or ski lift that did most of the heights instead of pedaling up ?
There's a road that goes up behind the trail, thankfully haha.

Haha wait wait, to clarify it is a closed gravel road. We definitely put in our effort! 😉

your bike is so sick, bit hard to get a Norco in South Africa
Unless it's a Revolver. 👉👉
🤘🤙
No! One false move and you'd be tumbling down that mountain!
Busted again Dale!
👍Polska
Great video! What camera setup are you using?
8 black!
@@DaleStone Seems a lot clearer than mine. Thanks!
I wonder if there is a way to have another camera on you so we have another pov. Especially for those pivot turns!!!
BCpov has lots of good second angle inspiration, but I don't have the time to edit that haha
Front brake control too good.
cracked, as the kids say
Out of curiosity, why do you guys run 26" wheels?
We don't, this trail was certainly designed around them though.
@@DaleStone Ah, I misheard you in the video. What size wheels do you guys run?
lol no dislikes
what is the song at the start of the video?
Something from RUclips library, don't exactly remember!
@@DaleStone okay

Absolute click bait. This trail easily cleaned without doing one pivot but not an easy trail. Nice vid though.
I couldn't have done it! 🙈
