I don't think this movie is actually good, but this scene is godman powerful. The only fact this father returns from war is so emotional; when you think that this family is dysfunctionning since one of their member has been gone. Finally they get the peace back; and the kiss between the two parents is beyond powerful. I cry so much!
Fun Fact: Both Ewan McGregor and Thomas Brodie Sangster, who played Simon in the first Nanny Mcphee, both have roles in The Star Wars Skywalker Saga. Ewan plays Young Obi Wan Kenobi in the prequel trilogy and Rise of Skywalker, and Thomas plays a First Order officer in The Force Awakens. Coincidentally, J.J Abrams directs both The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker
