I would like to take this opportunity to address what I perceive to be an erroneous assumption. The Amharic language has its own distinctive font, which is separate from the Geez font. The latter was established in the Adulis civilisation, which is now known as Eritrea. It was therefore established by the Eritreans or Adulis people. Therefore, it can be stated that Amharic is a language and Geez is a font. TigrNga and Amharic use the same fonts, which are derived from Geez.
