Rodrigo Farias - FIBA U-17 World Cup Highlights

Spotlight on one of the best players of his age group in the Caribbean, Rodrigo Aybar Farias (2005 - PG - 6'2),
Developing stateside in a prep program in Georgia, the buckets machine was the 3rd best scorer in Málaga & Marbella averaging 17.9 PPG along with 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.9 turnovers and 1.6 SPG per contest in seven games played, while being heavily used at 36' on the court.
Farias has a body that's still growing, having added close to 25 pounds in the past year, and even though he's not a standout athlete, he can easily create looks for his own offense off the dribble. Very shifty and impactful out of ISO's, the Dominican guard has an intriguing midrange game and range that extends far out from the three-point line. Playing for the Georgia Stars in the 16-U circuit, Farias already has mid-major offers and even high-major NCAA D-1, from the likes of Georgetown.
