    Camera angle is such that tying of knots is shielded by a hand. But thank you. Result is beautiful.

    Amazing craftsmanship! Question: do you know of a video that shows how the cover was sewn to signatures - I really like how you did it.

      Thank you! When I started this project, I noticed there wasn’t a complete tutorial by any one person. I had to combine sources to achieve the desired technique.
      Sherif Afifi is an excellent reference @sherif3afifi for how the endbands move from the signatures to the boards.
      I believe DAS Bookbinding @DASBookbinding has a video on Ethiopian Two-Needle Binding to start.
      I also referenced the book, The Archaeology of Medieval Bookbinding, by by J.A. Szirmai
