Yes! I was supposed to play this last year, but concert was postponed....to next week! But now we're only doing 3 mvts.
fun drinking game. every time you hear a harmonic minor passage in any Yiddish or arabain band piece take a shot 😂😂😂

this sounds more like phrygian dominant (5th mode of Harmonic Minor) to me.

I listened to about a dozen recordings of this, and yours (this one) was my favorite....and stellar Eb clarinet playing!

This is a great piece to play. had the pleasure of playing alto one at Sherbourne summer school of music, probably the best performance of my life so far. played at 18 and hopefully I will get to play it again soon
