David you have a wonderful ability to selectively ask questions when necessary but let the guest speak at great length without interruption and when you do finally ask a question it only elevates the interview not distracts from the interview. As always, the difference between theory & practice stands in stark contrast. Richard Wolff asks if Israel is willing to be in a forever conflict with its neighbors. In theory, bad decisions & overreach by Israel. In practice, Israel has no choice since the other side DOES NOT want peace. Academicians & politicians seem to have great difficulty in coming to terms with the fact that Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran DOES NOT want peace. Other Arab nations do want peace today with Israel, but that is only after getting kicked very hard multiple times. A militarily weak Israel will see them back to their old tricks.
Who exactly in the middle east does not want peace? Israel has continually bombed Syria, and now Lebanon carried out assassinations and sabotage operations in Iran? Are you saying that the Palestinians should "peacefully" accept their land being taken or be treated like third class citizens in lands that have traditionally belonged to their grandparents?
