Hyunjin is bilingual. He spent some time in the USA as a kid. He is just calm and collected on camera, even on Korean TV shows. He is like that.

It’s so sad that Felix and Hyunjin no longer even interact anymore, barely even looking let alone touching each other at all.
That was part of the reasons many fans liked to watch the group yet now it’s boring and so awkward, it’s lost that excitement especially as we know they have to pretend each other doesn’t exist.
I think it’s a big mistake by JYP preventing them from interacting because all they’ve done is give in to the crazy fans rather than support Felix and Hyunjin instead.
@@bellabana they are actually a bit better nowadays, especially on Insta. Crazy fans will always exist. Minimising interactions between Felix & Hyunjin just let's those crazy fans win. It's heartbreaking to watch them look so sad.

He is, like you said, just not confident with his English, so he lets other members, who are more confident, speak. He doesn't tease us tho, he is just uncomfortable speaking, so he chooses not to.
